Real Robots put more focus into the technique of the pilots while Super Robots bring out the extreme power of the unit. Each one shows off the strengths of each unit.
I can now picture Tails watching the Gurren Lagann finishers with a drill wisp in his workshop, then looking over at the tornado and doing an evil grin.
yeah, we need them: -well written -well animated -nostalgic and the chance that this happens is really low. japan seriously needs to stop produce tons of useless and forgettable shows. but we‘re getting a gridman adaptation and promare by studio trigger, promare by imaishi, the genius behind gurren lagann. so at least there‘s a little bit hope. and we need better super robot games.

@@di-gun5791 depends on the one have copy right tho. like Tsuburaya is really open with colab for something like SRW. you might see Gridman Universe in next SRW tittle with SSSS Dynazenon. or even new Freedom from the movie. so yea for tittle who gets in SRW, i leave it to banpresto team since its also affect the story too. except they are DLC

While I agree that STTGL is definitely the most HYPE, my inner nerd demands me to admit that Getter Emperor is a more powerful anime mech. And EXTRA technically, if we're including manga, there's Elder God Demonbane which literally pops entire universes as it strides past them because holy fuck what is wrong with us as a species
STTGL only clocks in at 52.8 billion light years tall while Mars Demonbane is literally infinite in size and still isn't even Demonbane's strongest form due to the existence of Elder God Demonbane and Demonbane the Vortex Blaster existing, both of which are stronger than STTGL and yet also still lose to Mazinger Zero.
STTGL is stated to be the size of our entire universe. Just the OBSERVABLE universe alone is about 93 billion light years across, and that is only what we have been able to observe, so it's very likely STTGL is much bigger. As for power, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann alone is stated to have the mass of many higher dimensional multiverses, and is powerful enough to create an entire Super Spiral Space within itself, which is heavily implied to consist of infinite multiverse, with each multiverse having 11 dimensions. STTGL has all of that and more, having absorbed all of the power from the Infinity Big Bang Storm, which is at the very least is the same amount of power as the start of the universe, the Big Bang, with that much power hitting you with every instant, and the Anti Spiral specifically says 'The hellfires of creation', and if it really is all of creation instead of just one universe, then it would likely be MUCH stronger than the Big Bang. STTGL is absolutely insane. Plus it has all the abilities of the previous forms, including Anti-Probability Missiles, which are literally missles that, no matter what, even if the target has a 100% guaranteed way of not getting hit by the missiles, whether it be by dodging or blocking or whatever, they WILL get hit. It's also capable of attacking targets along the time space continuum, hitting them in the past, present, and future all at once.
really lazy to go through the video again but as i recall there were gurren lagann, mazinger, some gundam series, code geass, aldonah zero, nadia,... that‘s pretty much what i can recall. i myself have to watch alot of super robot yet.
if you haven’t watched any of these yet i‘d recommend you to start with either gurren lagann or code geass. gurren lagann is my favorite anime and a timeless masterpiece.

No. Not quite. Many people came for what starts at 1:23. The same about every series represented in the video. And quite a few at what starts at 0:00 and ends at 30:47. And then there are the few odd ball like me, who thanks to people who put what starts at 8:30 through the roof (and even said that fucking *Getter Robo* copied the series represented by what starts at 8:30, when that series actually paid homage to Getter Robo, Mazinger Z and several others), actually don't want to see it or use it. Although lately I don't hate it as much as I used to be, so maybe in a few years I may be able to finally properly enjoy it. So, no, not all of us came for what starts at 8:30. It's not even on the top 10 mecha animes I could name, in my opinion. If I were to give an somehow unbiased opinion, it may be in the top 20 at most.

Just Gurren Lagann? Then probably Granzon, that think is broken beyond all believe (for its weight-class, at least). Anything beyond Gurren Lagann, though, and probably not even the Neo Granzon has enough firepower to even put a fight.

To add, it is a gainax series, and a very good one at that. Personally I like it better than Evangelion (even if they are not the same genre, I'm a fan of mecha series, so that should put it in perspective how good I think Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water is)
This is the ORIGINAL Mazinkaiser and not its OVA counterpart so thats why they used the OG Mazinkaiser theme instead of Mazin Kenzan or Fire Wars. Though with custom bmg you could put either in to use instead.
