With a scoreline like that you'd have to say a bit of both. At some point the Landers backs were broken and the blues had free reign but before that it would be down to the blues breaking them down.

Tele'a MOTM performance and great first-up hitout for the Blues... the amount of ground Beaudy covers in a game should never be underestimated... eg. if there was a tracking shot to see the speed and ground he covered for him to pop up just in time for that Tele'a offload to score that try is simply immense... his general support lines even with the highly likely chance they gonna score but still finishing the play off acting as a backup is testament to a great team player.

Well Done boys excellent start to the season, we showed dominance, a fluent attacking style of rugby and showed great teamwork on the field. Hoskins Sotutu, Finlay Christie and Mark Telea have to be the best players in this game and I think the improvements we can make for next week are trying not give away so many penalties and advantages in our half so much but other then that it was a great match to watch and a good start to our title campaign GO THE BLUES 💙💙💙

Only around 4 Blues players in the AB's starting 15, Highlanders have 2 or 3 starters (Smith, DeGroot & Frizzell) Crusaders will have about 4, Chiefs 3, Hurricanes have Ardie Savea & Jordie Barrett so its a pretty even spread.
