After yesterday’s cancelled races, today was a bumper billing with six rather than four races. That not might sound a great deal but when you factor in the tight TV time window and the restrictions on power and port access times along with a whole list of other considerations, making grand prix yacht racing work around the weather’s schedule when it only turns up with 6-8 knots is challenging.
So, while today was billed as Super Saturday and with the Kiwis back on the water after their impressive overnight repairs, what no one knew was whether it would be.
