I’d like to imagine that every time condi pets his cat on camera, Jay canonically is also petting a cat. So like, when Jay and Gillian are in bed bolts and beyond, Jay just found a random cat in the store and started petting it.

The next time he gets chased, Chip has GOTTA use his bandana to turn into Price or something just as he escapes and yell "Remember the name Price!" and then do a backflip. Make it LOOK like he was originally disguised as Chip but was actually Price and make him get in trouble instead.

the way the rest of the crew were obliviously scavenging bed bolt n beyond’s backrooms like cavemen while chip just nonchalantly paralyzed a guy during a midnight lore heist shows just how screwed they’d be if anyone ever got lost… & it is hilarious

the bit where Charlie and condi were so excited about the beyond section reminds me of when my players went looking for a McDonald’s mid plot. It was great

“Hey guys, that was the only joke I prepared for this episode, so everything else will be downhill from here.” Wow, Mr. Slimecicle has got some true foresight right there lol In all seriousness though, “Chip is either getting killed or bitches, and this store’s got no bitches, Jay.” is such a damn legendary line and it was well worth it to see the Riptide captains come the *closest* they have *ever been* to getting arrested. Look man, my one of favourite arcs in this campaign is the Edison Kingdom arc, because I LOVED all the planning and heist stuff that went into it. And it was so damn funny to see all of that go out of the window in this. Honestly, there was a point (probably the point at which Chip actually got f**king handcuffed) where I was like, “if they get arrested, they might actually be brought closer to their goal, so maybe this will work out.”

Charlie: *gives bizzly's character a can of oil* Me: *flashbacks to the time bizly set the world tree on fire* Maybe giving the arsonist a flammable substance wasn't a good idea.

In full honesty, I feel like the riptide crew works really well in these sorts of situations, wich is why this episode will be joining my list of favorite episodes, along with episode #46. In other words… Incredible. Powerful. Moving. Easily my new favorite episode of this campaign.

First roll of the session and it already left me rolling on the floor in laughter. Grizzly didn't expect this, but the improv and wit to make a whole side quest for Gillian and Jay are what makes for a really good DM. Grizzly, you are so cool. If they forget the Beyond section I will flip horribly and break my bones Chip Gaslighting his way to the Vice-Admiral Also, shield is up until the caster's next turn, and you can use cunning action to dash, disengage, or hide as a bonus action. Rogues are broken

This is one of the most chaotic episodes ever I think I was literally rolling with laughter the whole time
