Sorry to hear you have both been so poorly! Thank you for making the effort to get out and make this lovely video ( your little doggie is very entertaining ☺). I’m sure the fresh air did you a power of good.
Oh, I love woodlamd walking with these beautiful trees with the curly branches and close to an estuary ❤️. Queen Victoria would have cried her eyes out if she knew what she was missing. And the quay is huuuuge!!! What a great disappointment it must have been that they didn't visit! 😢 Thank you for another lovely and educational video. Torunn 🥰
Sorry to hear you had COVID but glad you are well enough to go out walking again. Did this walk in 2020 when I set myself the challenge of visiting all national trust places and car parks in Cornwall in 1 year! Lovely place for a sunny walk with the spring flowers out. Enjoyed watching your Bath videos too!
Glad you are on the mend from Covid, it takes a while to shake off. That looks a stunning walk you found and all down to your amazing research. The sound of running water and birds singing must have been a huge lift for you Nice to see your boys having fun too, take care guys,,,,,,,Brian&Jane
my first thought was smuggllng as its tucked out of the way - my favourite du Maurier is Frenchmans Creek - glad you are both well on the road to recovery, rest & fresh air is the quay ;-)
Did this walk two months ago ansum sounds of the wildlife amazing and had a Gear Farm pasty my favourite always a treat when visiting the Lizard good to see back fit and well ish 🥰😉👍
I hope you partook of the delightful lunches at the Flora cafe on the Trelowarren estate! One of Cornwall's best preserved and most atmospheric fogous lurks there as well.
Glad to see you both are on your way to recovery, lovely to see the fur babies! Still rest and take care, and have a great week ahead, sending lots of happiness, Lori
What a fabulous post: and you both did really well doing that walk after having had Covid. This looks to be a good place to visit but will wait until this appalling weather improves (if it ever does 😉) Seeing your doggies reminded me of the wonderful times we had with our late Springer Spaniel at Tehidy Woods where she’d often as not get plastered in mud 😁
I agree, that road down to Tremayne is very narrow and windy. It is beautiful down there though. Hope you both get over covid soon, the after effects can last a while. The Vyvyan family still live at Trelowarren and Sir Ferrers is a Baronet if that helps.
So sorry to hear that you have been poorly! Glad you are on the mend. Take it slowly. It was a lovely walk. Your dog made an impressive jump onto the quay! Thanks again.
I love pirate history. Those buccaneers really got around! I’m en route to past pirate 🏴☠️ held islands in Nicaragua tomorrow. Thanks for a great vlog. Get well. Elderberry syrup might help. Happy April.
@@CornishWalkingTrails No pirates yet. I’m a snorkeler. I’ve seen nurse sharks, beautiful tropical fish, starfish and corals. Still looking for a treasure chest.
Sorry to hear you’ve been so poorly with Covid. Hope you will soon be 100% recovered, don’t push yourselves too hard till you are. This looks a lovely peaceful walk and such fun watching the muddy pups enjoying it with you
Missed that beautiful place in younger years....wonder if it would be possible to camp there for a weekend, if NT owned perhaps not but love to one day❤
Yet another great walk, from the pre video photos I thought you were walking to the key in Trelisik woods near the iron age fort. Glad to hear you are both on the mend😀😀
You did, we almost camped at Trelawaren 50 years ago but Trewan Hall was a few pence cheaper, camped later caravan at Trewan for the next 52 years. She means cottages from this year.
Hi Sarah and Andrew. I really enjoyed your woodland walk and the history of the key. Hope you both get well soon. I loved seeing the dogs forricking about in the grass and getting slightly muddy.
Glad you are feeling better. Thank you for another great, fun vlog and also a new unit of measurement, I now measure outdoors by dog ! Keep up the great work, love it.
Hi Sarah and Andrew, I'm sorry to hear that Covid had caught you. I wish that you both make a full recovery. We did the hike last year in February. It was beautiful there with the curly branches and a wonderful spot to take out my sketchbook. It was nice to hear the story about it. Thank you so much for sharing. Andrew definitely needs to go back and have a pasty:). It's worth it! Oh, the cute dogs needed a bath:)). It also rained a lot here in Germany and the footpaths in the woods are still very muddy. Spring is coming with a lot of much needed sunshine.☀ Take care. Have a lovely weekend, Gabi:)
Welcome back. Glad you've (almost) recovered from the dreaded covid. And glad to see the little mud magnets again, have missed their antics🐕. I'm wondering who was the most disappointed, Sir Richard on missing out on a royal guest, or Andrew finding Gear farm closed😭. The person who installed that swing must have used Andrews measuring system. 2 Irish wolfhounds or a Great Dane and 1/2 😂
Nice video guys. Finally getting to catch up and watch some RU-vid. Glad you are both getting better again. There are definitely some interesting places around the lizard. We both think Gear Farm pasties are the best. You'll definitely have to try again another time.
Lovely to have you both back & what a great video - we really enjoyed it - We have been to Trelowarren, many years ago and I remember the lovely cafe - it is a pretty drive to the house but I never got as far as the Quay but I did know about the Queen Victoria story. Great to see the doggies - 2 very muddy ones ha ha!! another job when you get home. Well done 10/10.
Great Royal connections combined with beautiful views, entertaining “mud-babies” and of-cause Andrew is always entertaining what more could we want, The Blue Bells beginning to sprout will look glorious, reminds me of Scotland in the spring they stretched as far has the eye could see, we used to visit “Queens View” Albert & Victoria’s favourite picnic site, so Royalty loved Cornwall as much as we do, I learn something new every day, sorry about the dreaded Covid, I had a real bad dose when it was rampant quite horrendous🥴wishing you both a speedy recovery, take care until next time 🤗
Lovely video ,I also am getting over my second bout of covid ,managed to avoid it until this Christmas and then came down with it yet again at Easter 😞so am really looking forward to our holiday in Cornwall in June ,it will be our cocker spaniel puppy Rosie’s first seaside holiday so looking forward to some of your lovely doggy walks 🐶
Hopd you soon feel better! We found when we had COVID, we were breathless gor a long time. Be careful not yo overdo it, thst way Long COVID lies! Thank uou for showing us this one, we'd love to do it when we visit Cornwall again, but wonder how we'd do it without a car...maybe a canoe?
Lovely to see you both back in action, and accompanied by the doggies! That is such a peaceful woodland walk, and I love the sound of a stream wending it's way down & through...it's one of my favourite features of Cornwall ~ you're never far from the sound & movement of water 💙. The river view & quay is amazing...'75 Dogs Long' (sounds like the title for a mystery novel). Hope Andrew eventually got his elusive pasty. Love the pretty classic print top Sarah. Dont forget to pace yoursleves for the next couple of months (level walks!) x
COVID 😢 So hope you recover 100% its nasty to catch even now. Well that's going to be one place I look into visiting as we're big walkers and although not a challenge its still a lovely place better in some sunshine 😊 Be great for kayaking but that parking is not going to be usable as I have a kayak trailer too. Will look into parking elsewhere and kayaking in . Thanks for sharing great video and place. Glad you both managed to find time to visit edit and share. I've edited a few of my video lately it's hard so time consuming. Search for me I have few padstow video and some new ones in my village . You tube Kev the Brinklow kayaker 😅
Hi Andrew and Sarah nice to see you back, i hope you have a full recovery after your bout of covid. Your walk today was much needed as we have had nothing but rain since January. Tremayne Quay must be beautiful in the sunshine and a great place to picnic.
Very sorry to hear you have been poorly hope you are both well you have been missed on u tube I looked forward on a Friday to your walks keep well look after your selves lovely to see you again And doggies x❤
