Hi again. I've had a pixie cut since April and its been great for the most part. But now in recent weeks, I'm experiencing issues with the top part of the cut. It wouldn't hold a curl at all. I would spend all night rod setting my hair. When I take the rollers out, it has slight curl and when the wind hits it , omg my hair stands straight up in the air. I don't want to use heat everyday. I use a mild relaxer and my hair overall is entirely to straight. Yet when I was fully natural, I couldn't hold a curl unless I did a braidout. My hair is to short and straight to braid and I love how it looks curly. Please any suggestions would help, I feel like just shaving my hair off and throwing my hands up in the air.

KAYE!!! love love it beautiful.. I also weren't super short but I've been using sweet almond oil in my hair. Now what about holding the rest of the hair down when your relaxer gets a bit old?

I use Nairobi and a good set of wrapping strips. It's harder to pull off when the hair is short and you don't have a fresh relaxer, but it can be done with a little extra effort.
