It's Funny how this 'first' as is claimed, was done in 1930, Empire State Building, no space for material, all pre-fabricated erector-set style in Pennsylvania. Steel goes up on day of delivery, off the truck straight up to the sky. Then again in 1968, Twin Towers, fabricated in PA. As well, the Golden Gate Bridge 3600 miles away, George Washington Bridge NYC, & Hoover Dam in Colorado . . . . all built in Bethlehem PA.

Many aspects of the Empire State Bldg were also prefabricated. It took only 18 months to build,, 90 years ago.

this was fascinating. great research and detail went into this, I commend the creators of both the building and the documentary. Its quite inspiring watching videos of such epic cooperation and creation in the current times of mayhem I'm watching - 04/05/2020.

All the mechanicals on top,Adjustable skeleton,the shims & jacks..this building is incredible.The downward views really gives a sobering perspective on how tiny the work area is below..thats nuts..
