I don't know what possessed me, but I've started to paint pennies. I never realized how small they were until I tried to paint something on them. I've done a couple of the 2x2 canvases and they are just a hard. Fun and challenging, but hard. Thanks for the "little" painting lesson.

I clicked on this for some guidance on how to approach "small" details, on an "average" sized canvas.......but you weren't satisfied with an assist.....you went for a slam dunk! 😂 Tiny TINY details, on an iddy biddy canvas!! Love it! 😁

Awesome! I paint the same, but on 2x2's to 4x4. Using tiny brush sets really helps with minute detailing, and saves frustrations...so does a huge magnifying table lamp. 👍🏼

Very nice, Kevin. Congrats on the 400k. That is a nice milestone that you deserve. I did a series of 4 mini-paintings (similar landscapes from the same area in spring to winter scenes) once and although it went faster than a big painting, it wasn't actually easier for me, mostly because I had to get used to the brush sizes against the tiny canvases. But they turned out beautiful in the end and they were a lot of fun to paint despite that.
