The Final Smash is the ultimate attack in the Super Smash Bros. series; usually the most powerful move of a character. Today, we're counting down the strongest Final Smashes based on damage.
Notes
- Transformation Final Smashes and Pit had to be cut since their power varies greatly
- The Mii characters that used their Smashes had default weight and height
- The Mii Fighter was chosen as the "sandbag" because he has the default weight of 100

It may do over 200% but who would purpously jump over her (or in top of her) to get caught on the Star? It's not too effective against smart people by smart people I mean pretty much, everyone (and even if she grabs them to the star it's impossible to make it deal 200% by throwing them into it)

Our second Final Smash video. Transformations (like Mega Charizard, Super Sonic etc.) and Pit had to be cut, since their power varies greatly. There might be a chance that they get their own video. We know that there is probably a way to do more damage with the Final Smashes of Zero Suit Samus, Bayonetta, DK and Rosalina but that doesn't matter since their placing wouldn't change at all (a well-used Final Smash of ZSS won't do more damage than a well-used FS of Bayonetta, Bayonetta won't beat DK, DK won't beat Rosalina) - Roddy & Breaker

It's potent but only if used correctly. People can literally avoid the entire thing if it's misused. But what some don't seem to know is that Rosa can combo into the Grand star or once it's activated, she can continue fighting and even launch people into the star where's it's pretty much curtains for them

Yea they have kill power and are easy to land but Rosa can still do things while the star is active, such as throw people into it, allowing for the ridiculously high damage if she gets it right. And DK? Yea he'd be kind of screwed. Anyone not walking to him can avoid if.

These kind of videos should really be renamed as "the strongest" is quite the deceiving title, considering it could address the moves' knockback. "The most damaging final smash" is absolutely clear and not as misleading as it can only mean one thing.

hold up... pk starstorm does 8% with every hit... is this a reference to earthbound and the eight melodies? or is it just a coincidence since about ten final smashes are 40% and you get about 5 hits with the beam, and eight percent each time would be fourty?

I think Bayonetta’s Final Smash is kinda unfair, since that damage you deal before the actual Final Smash varies. Say you rack up about 70+ damage before the clock fills up, and that’s a 40+ damage.

Finally someone realizes the key to using Rosalina's final smash. You gotta throw your opponents into the star or wait for them to be above you. (Throwing is the more likely choice.) So many people put her as the WORST final smash when her's is actually the most unique because (whiteout being a transformation Final Smash) you have to continue working for it after you set it off, not just sit and watch. And there you go, you have the STRONGEST smash in the game from what used to be considered the "worst."

How much damage a final smash CAN deal is different from how powerful each one actually is. Marth and Lucina's are relatively easy to land, and are a guaranteed ohko, so theirs would be the strongest.

For everyone who's say "Y isn't Pikachu on this?" and "Where's Charizards Final Smash" its Simple : All Transformation Final Smashes are Disqualified because it has different Results due to Rather Skill or because it can't have a fully accurate Damage. Samus is notable for having nearly the easiest one to hit with from a distance. I once was cheesed to lose to her pity smash. I've even got 0% kills if the enemy is positioned unfavorably.

This video is pretty horrible... It only takes into account damage at 0% and an opponent that tries to get hit as much as possible. Rosalina's and DK's final smash would do a lot less damage against someone trying to avoid the move. Or just standing still even, rather than run into DK's shockwaves or getting stuck in rosalina's star.

The list was based on percentages dealt, not total knockback. Marth's and Lucina's may be OHKOs (Roy's isn't, by the way), but they only deal 60% compared to the possible 277% output from Rosalina's Final Smash. If it were based on knockback, then yes, Marth's and Lucina's would be tied for #1, but again, it's based on damage output.

Technically, though it really depends on how much damage she can dish out beforehand, and if she catches someone in a combo at 0%, it's extremely unlikely that she'll rack up the 100% for Gomorrah to straight up eat whoever's caught in Infernal Climax (Especially with the 1.1.6 patch nerfing some of her combos). I guess hers is just more of a wait 'til later Final Smash. So really, hers is a OHKO at 100+%, otherwise the target will just take massive damage.

Bayonetta's Final Smash can kill at 5% by using Up Smash-Down Smash-Up Smash combo (which deals 50% overall) during Witch Time's effect, so that's 55%.Add 45% to that by mashing A and/or B buttons on Gomorrah's feast, then that's 100% game over...

6:38 Most of the damage recorded in this is from the damage taken before the actual final smash, which can vary. If you reset the damage before the actual final smash, it only does about 30% (no mashing) to 45% (max mashing).

Bayonetta should be numbered by the damage when the Dragon(thing) does damage to the foe, as damage has to be applied in order to activate the Animation.
