In case anyone's asking, this was the Japanese version of SSB4 for the 3DS. You can tell from the Japanese names for the Pokemon & Mega Man.

I like how they tried to save Snake's final through ZSS's, and Lucario's through Ness's, but reskinning Mario's for both the Doctor's and Fit's made me lose a lot of hype. Lucina was originally an actual Marth palette swap before they realized that their heights and swords were supposed to be different, so nothing much left to complain about there.

I'm sorta disappointed in how many of the smashes were barely changed or left the same in SSB4... There were so many endless possibilities they've could have done instead. I really wish this isn't the final product and that they'll eventually make some changes in the end. But I do have to say Zero Suit Samus' smash is my favorite overall ;) Much Nostalgia

Sadly, this is the final product. The full game was released in Japan today and we will be getting the game on October 5th I believe.

Y'Know what? Fuck the Smash community, screw these spoiled brats, screw these whiners. Screw everything god awful that plagues this fanbase. I love Melee too guys, but HOLY CRAP, this smash community complains and complains about these clones appearing in this roster which is LESS than the amount of clones in Melee, I think. Plus 51 CHARACTERS? LOOK HOW FAR SMASH HAS COME. Can't we appreciate what Smash 4 IS instead of what it should've been?

If people are going to say Dark Pit copied Zelda/Sheik's final smash, I'll bring up something. Zelda/Sheik take a couple of seconds to position themselves before they shoot. There is no delay when Dark Pit snipes you. And I'm willing to bet that the farther you're away, the more damage he does in comparison to Zelda/Sheik who do more damage if you're up close.

My favorite is sonic, I mean the guy is the ONLY transformation final smash in the GAME to be unable to die WHATSOEVER while his final smash is active. It's also still a pretty good killing tool despite being nerfed.

I hate the roster, so many options and they go with the clone wars , its so annoying. At least I have 4 FE characters, a dream for me, well, Lucina is a clone but nothing I can do.

It wasn't just me then...too many clones. And they took out Lucas, probably thinking oh noes clones! 1 mother character vs a like what, 2 or 3 mario clones? I mean mario is exactly the same, doctor mario AND luigi who are very similar both attack with super smashes that are pretty much the same thing....yeah its a really weak roster. I don't know WHY R.O.B. is on the list, I mean seriously, I still don't know wtf that was about to begin with. And game and watch? I'm still gonna get the game I'm sure, but I don't think its living up to its usual reputation anymore.

Sure keep lying to yourself, toon link = link , ganondorf = captain falcon , mario = dr mario and a little luigi, pit = dark pit , lucina = marth, falco = fox, ofc is not melee, but Nintendo still makes dumb decisions, there were 3 characters from star fox now there are 2, also earthbound, and tooo much pokemon, I mean greninja was ok but charizard??, In the game there are awesome skins (all bowsers jr, little macs, link, etc) BUT DARK PIT and DR MARIO arent skin?! Just genious. I love and support Nintendo but they always sucks at choices, same as MK8 while has 3 marios, 3 peachs and 7 or 8 bowsies. Dont get me wrong, I still like Smash Bros, just not the epic rooster that I wanted since Brawl.

I'm...disappointed. And I hate that I am. They were on the right path with Kirby's or Luigi. But why not give Falco a different one? Or Zelda and Shiek? Some also seemed dumbed down a bit. Ness basically got Lucario's Final Shash. Some also seemed to be nerfed, like Sonics. Dark Pit's makes me the most frustrated. Oh well...These are the final product. Nothing we can do about it. At least ROBs and the MII Fighter's Final Smashes looked epic.

Shirk and zelda are the same person so it makes sense. Of course sonic had his final smash nerfed. It was way too long. Ness should use a move he actually gets from mother he can't learn starstorm. And Falco is just lucky he's even in The game.

This game looks like absolute garbage... Why is the gameplay so laggy-like and not as smooth as Super Smash Bros Brawl back on the Wii. Graphics in general are disappointing and lackluster.

Because it's captured on a capture device and then put on RU-vid. I've heard that it plays extremely smoothly on the actual device as opposed to recorded footage.

RU-vid only allows 30fps. The game runs at 60fps. It plays MUCH smoother than it shows here. Try watching it on twitch before you make any judgements.

I like the smashes but not so much the roster 1. The got rid of snake 2. They didn't get rid of Toon Link 3. They brought back Dr Mario 4. They got rid of Ivysaur and Squirtle 5. They didn't bring Mewtwo back 6. Wii Fit Trainer is dumb Pros 1. Added Megamen 2. Added Pacman 3. Got rid of Wolf

My favorites, hands down, are the Final Smashes that involve getting literally "Omnislashed". In short : Ultra Sword, Great Ether, Greninja's Final Smash, Chain Attack (Shulk) and the Mii Fighter's Final Smash. Especially that last one. SO BADASS.

I know all of them were at 0% but I was surprised at how few smashes managed to OHKO. I think Pit's was the first one and then there were some more after that but it seems like Pit's is the only one that can OHKO from anywhere on the field.

TBH I kinda miss Luigi's old Final Smash, considering he was my main in Brawl, using his final smash at the right time could mean winning the game for a player could end up falling asleep and i could get an insta kill, but I just have to wait and see how good his new one really is
