Wild woody attacks are sometimes short-ranged like his forward and down smashes. At least his up smash can reach platforms, making hitting enemies from above easier. His special attacks can be helpful, like his down special dealing some decent knockback, keeping opponents away. I just spammed that move when I needed to.
