AwesomeCasey795 everyone would probably be screaming out their favorite megaman like Megaman EXE, Megaman X, Megaman Volnutt, Megaman Starforce (geo stellar) and the first and original megaman
I remember at the end of 'The Wizard' movie where no one knew much about Super Mario Bros. 3 until the end when they were playing SMB3 for the NES. People shit their pants when they saw that, the announcement was in the damn movie lol
What SHOULD have happened: At the direct, Sakurai just shows that it's the Black Hole Bomb (Galaxy Man) and skips the good part. Cue this later, everyone sees the good bit. HYPE GETS A NEW MEANING.
Funny how Nintendo fans love Megaman more than Capcom or PS fans. I can see it already: Capcom releasing a bunch of new classic megaman games for Wii U or DS.
They are probably getting the signal now. It's definitely the Nintendo system-owning fans that want Megaman the most. Inafune knew what he was doing when he chose 3DS as the platform of choice for Megaman Legends 3. Shame things didn't work out with Capcom. But to a degree, that cancellation is Legendary (no pun intended) and fueled a want for Megaman even more than ever. I think if Capcom ever decides to revive the franchise, they know what platforms they have to support in doing it. Give it to the fans for which such a Final Smash basically was like flashing their childhood in front of their eyes. There's no way they would not be the first in line to hand Capcom money.
I haven't played a single MegaMan game in my LIFE (still know about him tho, maybe I was just a bit "too young" way back when); yet every time he does his Final Smash in the demo, I can't help but gasp "wow". And this video makes it better. It's just so cool, seeing Mega's different/later "versions" teaming up and just blasting your opponent with -- I'll admit -- really cool rainbow lazers. Hearing all these cheers just reminds me that this is someone's childhood, and just... I dunno, I feel happy when others are happy. The reaction is stunning... ...God I gotta play the original MM. I probably sound like such a doofus lol long comment is long
You should play classic, then Megaman x, then Megaman zero, then Megaman ZX and Megaman legends. And for an alternate universe try Megaman battle network, and then play Megaman Starforce. :)
Not since Justin vs Daigo or the Wombo Combo as such hype ever been captured and recorded for everyone to see. I really hope that having Megaman in Smash revitalizes Capcom to bring the blue bomber back into action.
I cried so hard when I saw MegaMan's final smash for the first time. It was all my childhood into one!! And with Ultimate of adding Protoman and Bass made me cry even more!
Nintendo won E3. Period. The most Sony or Microsoft ever got was a "well done" clap. THIS is what Nintendo had. And no amount of fanboyism from any side whatsoever could counteract those screams of joy.
Most likely that this game has great casual play but lacks in what makes a game competitive. I will enjoy this game for what it will be, for fun. As for my thirst for competition ill be back on melee.
xDDufiosy This is so close minded. Do people really think because it isn't like Melee it can't be competitive? Alone the fact that there is customizable move sets for every character, gives it a great chance. The game is definitely faster than Brawl, I've played it a best buy. Just cause there aren't wavedashes and long hitstuns, doesn't mean the game can't be competitive. That's just stupid.
Wow i just said that it lacks in aspects compared to melee. dont get your panties in a bunch. People played brawl competativly and they will try the same with smash4, its just obviously melee is more competative and i can see pros going back to that game in the end because of the fact that it offers MORE. I know smash4 DOES OFFER SOME aspects of competitive play but there is a reason people go back to melee.
Pros do not care for generations and updated graphics. it is soley the game play preferance. Not like there wouldnt be a scene for smash4. I just dont see all pros migrating. Please dont say that people who play competativly can not adapt, they will be the FIRST to adapt when they see potential in the game.
Capcom: "I dont get it! Whats the big deal! There is nothing special about this!" Nintendo and possibly megaman fans: "if you dont see how many people are fans of this amazing video game idle then maybe it wasn't supposed to be in the palm of your hands at the time." At this point nintendo should just own megaman. The fanbase still lives and capcom is to ignorant to notice this. Nintendo can make a lot of money off this. And if capcom Is willingly letting there greatest acheivement die, they should at least let nintendo have it. You lost capcom
As someone who was annoyed that Cloud's omnislash ver 5 has never been used outside of the movie and then finally got it with Ultimate I can definetly sympathize here.
Considering this was really my first competitive smash type thing that I ever watched, it was insanely hype. Like I remember watching the entire thing and it was just incredible. And since then I've watched tournaments from the smash community, but nothing can really be as "esports" as when the corporation who makes the game says okay, were gonna put a ton of money down on a nice ass stage and a bunch of awesome players and commentators to play our upcoming game. It makes me wish Nintendo would do more like this, because this is just crazy amounts of hype.
