I'm thinking they should programmed an area for the sandbag to fall in case players hit too far backwards. It would be just like the target range, except without measurements, and prevent glitching.
2:43 This is what is called: The Hall of Mirrors. Its basically what happens when the engine the game is running on cannot tries to render what is not there. Usually happens when, like the video shows you break the boundaries of the game. Valve games are notorious for this effect when you glitch through walls. We can see where the edge of the world is at 3:45 if you look at the mountains in the back.
I mean, I still liked it but I was just saying that it's still shit compared to TTYD and Super, showing how much I liked those more -I want Dimentio irl-
@GreenCannon Much agreed! Just when you think he's done, NOPE! THERE'S MORE! (Warning; SPM spoilers below, click at your own risk) Beat Dimentio, he essentially kamikazes with Luigi Beat Blumiere, he comes again, brainwashes Luigi, and fuses with him and the Chaos Heart Beat Super Dimentio, he's dead but his shadow lives on to control the Chaos Heart And the Pure Hearts come out SO. MANY. TIMES.
I think the broken world happens because the sandbag is sent into a textureless area, creatong a Hall of Mirrors effect. The same happens in some games like Doom, if you noclip out of the world, you'll end up viewing something similar
I'm surprised they didn't just block off the backwards direction. In case anyone really doesn't know what's happening, most engines, when outside the bounds of playable area where no textures or models are loaded, are in a "nodraw" state. No thing is being rendered except for what was in the camera's view each frame, which is why objects streak across over time.
Here is what I would say here: 1. When the player throws the bat in the air , it hits the sandbag , flies into the air and ganondorf hits the sandbag and it launches from a far distance and what happens is when the sandbag is far at the right time , the sandbag goes off screen (It's not really a glitch) it touched the ground but it's not really hit with enough force 2. When 1 lucario faces another direction and the other one does it too , the sandbag gets hit and gets stuck between 2 aura spheres. When the home-run contest starts , the 2 lucarios face another direction and they charge the 2 aura spheres and for a few seconds the results screen appears. Next the sandbag gets damaged really quick when 2 aura spheres are charging and your're unable to do anything else. To fix the glitch , pause the game and exit the home-run contest. 3. The bat flies into the air once again and hits the sandbag and what happens is when the sandbag gets hit , the player hits the sandbag and it flies into the opposite direction and what really happens is when the sandbag gets launched into the opposite direction , the world really gets broken and it goes on forever. You can also use Little Mac to do the glitch. There are different launch distances but they can also break the game. The last thing about this glitch is when you hold the A button for 4 seconds , the sandbag gets hit with 2% of force and lands on the shallow water near the big rock. And whats weird is the sandbags eyes are glitched. And that's when people would say , "Great Glitches can break any other game". That's what you really meant Nintendo Unity
If you get enough negative distance the distance meter begins to go up as if it were traveling right unfortunately you can’t use this to get an impossible score because there is no way to end the glitch and keep your score.
What is the effect called that happens at around 2:59 and whatnot? Like the overlapping of stuff. Is there a name for that? I've seen in it many games but never heard a term for it
