Poppt1, the man, the myth, the legend, who got a 76% on a math test, has a girlfriend, is a basketball player, and is also a Smash RU-vidr ..... hmmm something isn’t right
this was very helpful. I remember when I first heard you talking about movement I was confused and started just running left to right when I was on the opposite side of the stage from my opponent for no reason.
Definitely would like more of this series. The old 'The mind of" videos were really good but the script was always very robotic. You're so much better now!
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE. You're one of my favorite smash RU-vidrs, and I don't understand why I'm so bad at the game. I'll definitely watch this video back and practice, but thank you so much for starting these. You're helping a lot of people, believe me
I'm really happy to see a return to more educational smash vids. I love the way you can break down difficult concepts and show how top players implement them.
Poppt guides let's GOOOOOOOO!!!!! And really, I would LOVE this to be a series!!! You're great at teaching smash, and it's great content! Honestly, this changes how I look at my gameplay in smash entirely. Thank you so much!
Yes I love this series idea!!! Maybe for the next episode you could do like a glossary or something explaining the “technical” things you are saying such as “out spacing” , “end lag” and some stuff like that Idk just an idea I was thinking of
This may not get as many views as some other content, but this is what the people want PS. loved the use of on-screen drawing tools to really help visualize the concepts
MORE... I need MORE of this... like every time!!! MORE!!! This is one REALLY incredible video talking about in-depth analyzes, how to actually become BETTER not only by example but also in THEORY!!!
Man this tutorial is hella clean. Since you already talked about the subject in one of your "mind of" videos, it's good that you are showing a lot of examples in real matches.
I know this video isn’t quite the most successful you’ve had, but I really enjoyed it and I think it was really useful. I hope you can make more in the future!
by far one of the best smash channels out there ... one of the most underrated ones aswell right up there with larry lurr ... i hope you both rise to the 1mio some day
I love this series idea! Since you asked for our thoughts I think it'd be interesting if you shared some of your personal experiences or playing habits about the topic
Loved this Poppt - was so helpful! Definitely would like more in this series! Also, those examples of bait and punish against Holly were perfectly executed - nicely done, haha!
"You can't do that to your kid anymore" you caught me offguard man ! Nice application of the bait and punish strategy in real life. Such a great teacher x)
jordan thank you so much for doing this. I've been on a training arc for a few months and i've kinda started to slow down a bit. These videos are going to be perfect for me and i assume a lot of other people as well. Also (just a little tip), what will probably be the most effective would be to upload one of these like every week or so so that way people can practice with it if they are trying to get better. Just a suggestion and i don't really care what you do. Love you man keep up the good work
This is the exact kinda thing I hear people like Alpharad mention how easy it is and I just didn’t know how to so thank you so much for making this, poppt the legend Edit: The clips on Holly were godly, keep up the great work
Hey Poppt! I gotta say that I'm usually one of those lurkers that sledom like or comment on videos despite being a subscriber but I absolutely love this type of content from you. Not only do very few youtubers cover the fundamentals of smash in this type of way but the content itself is incredibly engaging and creative. Please make more of these videos!! Edit: I know this is pretty similar to the mind of video you made about bait and punish neutral style. It would be interesting to see you cover the aggressive neutral style in this format as well as some other styles of neutrals you haven't gone over yet.
Yes please Poppt. If you start a smash “how to” series I’m sure lots of people including me will be interested. I’m really interested because recently I’ve started getting into competitive Smash ultimate.
Yes, please continue with this, I’m a new player who’s just learned how to tech and wall jump in a real game instead of just training mode, and this kinda stuff will help me get better at doing these kinds of things :D
Hey, would love to see this become a series, if the video does well enough and stuff! Personally, I'd like to see a video on edge guarding or ledge trapping, but whatever is good!
This is a W of a guide, I’d personally like to see a ledge trapping guide, as the damage output you can get is wild, and another big one is punishing tech options, on and off stage, and how to survive tech situations.
