DAMN, that final cinematic with donkey kong and k rool running at eachother makes a new subspace my inner most desire.

This is by far the best reveal trailer for any smash character.

1:29 is one if not the finest animations I've seen this year since this 2 years. The shading, the models, the smooth animation, the realistic sound effects just adds up and really feels the rage and clash between the two

K. Rool added a much-needed fun wacky villain. For the longest time DK (and Diddy) were in smash with no villain counterpart and this trailer made it all the more sweet to show what DK has to deal with in his own games.

I will never forget that moment. Exactly one year ago today on 8/8/2018, the King of a Kremlings was announced to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I remember I lost my mind and screamed in excitement / hype when my favorite character was announced. But man, time flies! It may have been one year since his reveal trailer, but we will never forget King K. Rool's Finest Hour! Edit: Well, here we are. Two years ago today, and K. Rool is still going strong!

Had to come back to pay respects to my favorite reveal of all time.

A whoole lot of love went into this character's reintroduction. The crown throw from the original Donkey Kong Country, all the characters jumping on his head (how you did damage to him in Country), Kaptain K. Rool from Diddy's Kong Quest, the helicopter backpack from Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, the Fortress Laser from DK64, as well as the boxing glove from DK64's amazing final boss fight AND that fire Gangplank Galleon remix. THIS is how you bring a villain back from the dead.

I love the expressions. They're going full Donkey Kong Country and I love it.

3 years ago today, everyone’s favorite reptilian king joined Smash.

We all know why we are here, we all come back to the place that made us happy. I come here every now and then to watch this because is fricking beautiful (Also I was able to almost throw my phone at a friend when I told him K Rool made it into smash)

My dad knows K. Rool mostly from playing DKC2. I felt genuine emotion when he recognized the blunderbuss attack in the reveal.
