@@WildLegio "Official" is referring to the actual quality of the Mod in question. And this IS a quality looking mod. New custom animations, effects and custom character select announcer voice unique victory screens and a moveset that translates directly from its source material.

Honestly looks pretty good. Model looks great, the animations look nice (yes I can tell some are recycled but the ones they chose look nice, reflect the character well, do have some uniqueness to them, and just fit what the character is going for.) and it looks all around really good. I'm happy we're at a point were we are getting character mods for Smash Ultimate now. Going forward, I can tell modding for this game is gonna get nutty as time goes on. All in all fantastic work to the modder(s), this looks great.

If this mecha sonic was added into smash as a new character I'd buy. Not only do we get another sonic character but we would get one of the coolest fan looking sonic character and its the smbz version. I really wish smash did have doomsday zone as a selectable track in the game.

Fucking sick man, love to see this The visor looks a little weird and I can't tell if it's just because his eye is a texture. One thing I want to point out though is that Mecha Sonic has a chest beam that is actually his eye after the outer shell of his head lifts up. The gun is usually depicted as shooting physical projectiles. The Sonic Smackdown portrayal of him also includes this, I think.

If one of his skins is a reference to Mecha Sonic (the one from the first game) that would be a nice touch on referencing a pretty obscure sonic character
