@@freakyfingers2098 Bayo gets bats within from frame 1 of inputting airdodge. But the actual invincibility of the airdodge starts later. So where other characters would have their airdodge actually dodge, she could get bats within instead. Additionally the invincibility frames run out faster on her airdodge. Also, it takes longer until she is able to act after the airdodge is complete than other characters. She also gets bats within on her rolls/spotdodge and they have similar penalties. The whole point is that she is rewarded more for properly timing dodges and punished more for doing bad airdodges. And this isn't even getting into other things like her still taking damage through bats within and the actual bats within itself having lag. EDIT: forgot to mention, the fact that some other characters have a frame 2 airdodge makes this complaining even more absurd.

Bayo only uses air dodge for recovery of course...

usern4metak3ns And to activate Bats Within. I do think her airdodge is kind of short ranged so the bats definitely make up for it, especially if you time it correctly.

Her specials allow her to turn around in the air. You be reverse up b and you can choose which direction you go with side b.

@@isakgidlund4884 They didn't. Uair starts behind Bayo. They RAR'd the Uair to Bair off of it. Edit: tl:dr they turned around for the Uair, you guessed it.

It's actually pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Depending on your button set up, it's as easy as a short hop aerial.

@@Liam-cq8bg maybe it's a double standard, but Falcon Dive is incredibly punishable if you miss. Palutena Nair, much less so. I think people get annoyed watching players spam safe moves with huge reward. It gets boring. At least with Falcon Dive You're relying on a 50/50 read. That being said it's prone to abuse and Fatality relies on it too much for damage and a "get off me too' that it's stale by the time he could be killing with it. But, to be fair what else does Falcon have to reset neutral when they're sticking to him like that? He has the fast jab, but it doesn't matter when the opponent has disjoints(weapons or energy)

@@Liam-cq8bg Palutena nair is a literal lagless disjoint that covers her entire body, making falcons entire kit completely worthless. Falcon dive is a frame 14 up b. I have no idea how you can compare these two, beyond them being oos options. Its like comparing the lethality of a cup of water and a hand grenade, and arguing the cup of water is more deadly in most people's hands.

It was already buffed coming from smash 4. It actually kills now. Only issue with it is it's punishable if the command grab gives them a tech opportunity. Makes the move exploitable by a exceptional player.

Bayo can shark with up B on most stages, you pretty much can't do that against Bayo which is why he was going for dair spike.

She is not good. She is super light. Literally cannot kill with anything other than B-Air or D-air. Witch time is useless most of the time since it takes too long to activate. Her best throw, F-Throw kills at 200. Hit more than 2 hits on the air and bayo's landing lag is insane, issue no other character has.

@@janmarcoperezbatres2203 I'll be honest besides the last thing this sounds like a good majority of the shit tier cast, like sheik, falcon, falco... Like I think 2/3 of the characters in this damn game need reliable kill confirms because a good portion of them are incredibly telegraphed and difficult as hell to land. Not taking away from your argument, I think bayo should have less lag still, it's just ironic that every swift combo friend character I can think of (sheik, falcon, bayo) all struggle to kill off combos and suck at getting payoff for landing combos.
