Part 1 of 3 in this new Trilogy Of Time! After his humiliating defeat at the end of "Mayhem In The Mushroom Kingdom", Bowser seeks revenge and takes the mysterious meteorite piece by force. He plans to use it as a new power source for Christopher Thorndyke's portal, allowing him to enter Mobius at a different time. But when he opens the portal to the wrong time, he discovers something shocking from Mobius' past and uses it to his advantage. Sonic must harness it as well, as it is the only way to stop Bowser.
