Loved it..learn a good bit of information from it too..another awesome video under the Atari Legend name. These are simply going from strength to strength fella.. Kudos!
Talking about Super Mario Bros. and then showing Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA), hm. :P 3:24 That's an enemy from Wario Land! Very interesting! When I saw the thumbnail, I was expecting this to be a new creation, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was actually released in the nineties. I've never come across it, maybe I should check it out! I guess the random level generation was also done to reduce the chance of losing legal battles?
You have an eye for details ;-) I never really found out about the origins of the random level generation, as I couldn't get in contact with the original creator sadly. I personally think it was done on purpose, to increase replayability. The creator also seems like a really good coder. I found a message on a forum somewhere he had sadly passed away. Although I don't know if this is true and I don't want to spread false rumours ...
These things are fake. I also run Stario on a TT monochrome monitor ;) If you notice, all hardware is turned off. It is just for show. Not that I want to deceive people, just want to make the shots more interesting...
@@AtariLegend Hehe, okay I see now. Just gave me a funny 'Huh?' moment. The same people get when they see one of my STs running Quake 2 (because shamelessly I put a Pentium 3 mini atx board into a broken ST case)
@@AtariLegend I would suggest almost every game has been done in some way...most poorly and often on emulators. I would appreciate your take much more though. Your video production value and sense of humor cause your videos to stand out. Honestly some refurbishment video content would be awesome too!
@@AtariLegend thanks for the reply. I was lucky enough to purchase an original physical copy complete, today for good price. Never seen it before on ebay and had to snap it up. I never saw what the box art was like or anything, hence my question to you because you have an amazinG collection of all things ST. Love you vids and your hardware collection of STs, Megas etc is just jaw dropping......
