+Suiseiseki Rozen with great difficulty! We use a specially constructed wooden jig to slide large magnets apart as it is five times easier to slide magnets apart than pull them directly apart. In a real world situation it is unlikely that magnets of this size and strength would be used without building them into an assembly which incorporates a release mechanism.

Yeah he was wrong to say that. F = ma so F = 300kg * 9.81m/s^2 = 2943N or 2.943 kN. It's not a conversion it is a different unit type, that's like saying you can convert from length to volume, you need the width and height as well just like you need the acceleration to find the force. A lot of the times the acceleration is 9.81m/s^2 due to gravity but not always, like driving a car would not necessarily produce an acceleration of 9.81m/s^2 in the x direction, only in the y direction due to gravity.
