try to be nice and respectful to employees or talk to managers about whenever their trucks come and you can have an idea on when to be there and what to look for!
I really appreciate you saying that about the scalpers, as a long time collector i get so tired of seeing people trying to find just the supers for the money..i don't sell anything..i leave good stuff behind for other collectors as well..i just wish everone would do the same..like your video by the way..keep up the good work! 👍

I literally just got back into hunting and found my first Super TH ever! It was the Cougar you have in the video. I was so excited! I missed a unicorn case by the id Chase. Found the Super, the Mainline, and the regular TH. Still an absolute thrill, and it was on the peg to boot!

I don't help customers with Hotwheels anymore since I got burned helping a regular a few years back. So I hunt for myself now. He gets the scraps. Got a 2022 Jaguar F-Type Super T and the Morisson Mini T out of a 2022 H case tonight. There going on my wall for sure.

my area stores are shady bro i found a spot had a conversation with an employee who knew nothing about this stuff broke it down to him and unfortunately every time after that i went in and the store manager would say there all gone bro good luck trying to find anything good tf..
I remember back when I worked at target we hated Hot Wheels, and Card Collectors (ironic because with collect both) but because they were rude and threw fits when you didn’t have their cards or hot wheels.

Kids like me are having so mutch trouble just to buy a mainline but i collect and I usually play with my collection cuz I honestly don't care if my cars get a few scratches and the scalpers whatever you call them I hate them I looked online and SO MANY 100 DOLLAR CARS
I started collecting a year and 6 months ago I have found a treasure hunt but no super yet. It is a bit difficult being young and only going to Walmart once in two to two three weeks. Hopefully I can find a super for Christmas.
You can get them online or from flea markets or diecast shops ect .. just look up protecto packs for hotwheels they're only like a buck or 2 a peice if I remember 😀
Honestly just get a gf that loves to go to retail stores. I’ve honestly found 2 super treasure hunts. I found the courgar at target just randomly going

I have been searching for sth since 2016-2018 retired in 2019, 2020 due to school getting more bizarre. And recently i started hunting again. And i still havent found a single sth :(

I was going to add about being careful about die cast addiction. Don’t try to collect everything. I personally prefer licensed cars that are at least 50 years old. Plus treasure hunts if I find them. And some pop culture licensed models. Try to only hunt while going to places nearby or on your way. Gas cost can make this hobby more expensive than it looks.

I liked it better in the old days when people didn't make you tube videos telling the world what to look for. There are too many new people who are out to make a buck on anything they can. By making videos like this it makes it easy on them.
I like the idea, there are new and obviously old collectors who still havent found a super and are dying for the experience. There are plenty of us who find quite a few supers a month that can afford to share the knowledge. Giving up a hit or two isn't gonna hurt, and if that collector doesn't nab it then maybe a flipper will. Theres enough to go around for everyone who puts for the effort it takes. 😁👍

Can a treasure hunt not have the golden flame? I'm certain I got a 68 mercury cougar treasure hunt because it's shiny but it doesn't have the gold flame. Atleast I don't see one
i just found out about HW collecting and did bought my first 5 today :) but i have a question .. i live in Germany and i think the cardboard behind the car is smaller than on your cars ... could that be?

I hear ya. The US has Target and several more department and dollar stores compared to Canada. When I see some of these hunt videos from the US, I gasp at all the cool stuff the hunter doesn’t even care about. 😅 I have only found two REGULAR treasure hunts. And one was from the previous year even tho it was March. I didn’t even know it was a RTH until days after I bought it. Just shows that some stores here have such old stock, that by the time they unbox them, they are old news. At the time of this comment, we have mostly C or D cases here. Whereas in the US, they have L cases.
I just found a treasure hunt car that I can't find on any list...its a green 1978 DODGE LI'L RED EXPRESS TRUCK and it has a silver flame on the package and spectra flame green paint

Being nice just doesn't work anymore. Not always the same employees and most of them just say no when you ask, no matter how nicely or friendly you are with them. If I see a case I just grab it and open it then stock it after and if they see or have a problem then I will explain. Because if they have a box sitting on the pallet and see you looking for hot wheels, they will put that box out last and make you wait... lol it's petty around where I live
This is a super rare car if you guys get it do not open it you can make some money on eBay by selling it it's a good thing to do to keep it in the package to keep it sellable and make some good money so do not open it!

For sure it took me almost a year to find one in the wild ! I suggest taking the route of asking employees about truck sceduals then try to be there and ask if they have any cases 😀
@@rugsbaby you could also ask to see when their next shipment is and try to see if you run into other collectors and ask them where they are finding new stuff, you might be able to find a good location
So I went into a dollar General that I have found regular treasure hunts in before and on one of their supply carts there was a fresh H case sitting there all by itself and I asked an employee if I could get in it and she told me no and I replied with well it's out here on the floor and I'm a paying customer so I should be able to look through it because that's not fair and she told me just do whatever you want then so I got in it and scored that super but in the meantime I apologized and said I know people usually trash this stuff and she said yeah they always do so I told her I would put everything right back in there the way that it came from the factory which I did I put every car back in the case just how it came from wherever it came from and now she is super nice to me and saves cases for me to look through first.. she said she was having a bad day so it's good I was nice you know my stern kindness scored me a super and a friendly employee who thinks about me when they get cases in 😀 sorry for the long story haha 🤘

I have always found supers at random differnt times I would say it's just the luck of when they are put put however if you happen to ask a store when they get their deliverys you can be there that day or a day or so after and they'll have the cars put out or they can bring them to you ! I also suggest looking at pallets or carts that may have hotwheel cases on them that's payed off for me several times just ask nicely to look threw the case and offer to hang the cars up for them ! 😀
@@hotwheel6663 there is a way to see what cases have what I suggest you watch Ministry of diecast which is a really good channel here on RU-vid for showing what is in each case before it comes out L case has the Mercury Cougar and the ollie rocket treasure hunt m case is out now and also n case so I would suggest looking up those two cases because those are the most recent☺🤘
I would defenitly try smaller stores like dollar stores of any type it seems easier to learn their truck sceduals rather then the big stores also you can make acquaintances with the workers there! ☺
@@NEOTHEGREAT6 Agreed if you do it at Walmart and Target stores to you can find some new Hot Wheels cars to. Dollar Tree and Dollar General rarely have newest Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars.
