Super Typhoon Goring batters Northern Luzon | New Day

We begin with the wrath of Super Typhoon Goring which pummeled Northern Luzon over the weekend.
National disaster officials say more than 500 families or aroud two thousand individuals were affected.
Among the provinces battered by Goring is Cagayan where power was knocked out in some areas while several bridges were rendered impassable.
Our correspondent EJ Gomez gives us a look.

Kinakalbo ang mga bundok, yung mga lupa inaagos pababa. Yung mga ilog, lawa, at iba pang mga water basins na sasalo sa tubig naging mababaw na dahil sa mga lupa umagos at pina babaw ang mga yan. Kaya sa tag ulan kahit hindi kalakasan, mabilis at madaling umaapaw ang mga ilog, kanal, mga lawa, drainages at iba pang sumasalo sa tubig ulan. Dapat maging critical na ang pagtatanim ng mga puno, halaman, sa mga nakakalbong lupa.
