Haha different gear would’ve suited me a lot better but I had high hopes to be more on a motorcycle ride than a bicycle ride lol.

The pedals are there for show basically to be considered a bike this in reality is a moped .

I was doing lots of half throttle or less throughout the day, also on a long flat I'd just give it one big acceleration and then kind of coast the last half for the next corner.

You first sentence is literally the purpose of the video, solved! It's about 34 miles on hilly terrain with a 170lb guy. Injustice? I think the only injustice is showing 5 miles range when the bike can't propel a person on flat ground. Also when you give a span like "40-70" it's kind of implied that the lower number is like, the lower end ya know? I still had a great day and I still like the bike, just wouldn't try to go 40 miles again. We live in Colorado, people want to take these camping, flat ground stats are useless here and who doesn't want to be on Mode 4? Thanks for watching!

@@Spiritof1876 thanks for the reply. i cringe when people say: “ Super 73 claims 40 to 70 miles” Well that’s only true in context, as you proved. Honestly because of the fat tires and heavy battery i personally try not to let it get lower than 20% unless I’m on my way home and near it at that. Being in Colorado it would probably be good for you to consider getting the derailer set up so if you are out in the dust and it starts to dog on you you can gear down and pedal easier. something to consider anyway.

We’ve been talking about getting one for the demo bike here, would definitely make a huge difference and I’m curious to see how it’d feel assisted on the steep ones 👍
