We were amazed with the attention to detail and the build quality. It was better built than a lot of professional Van's that we have seen at shows. Thanks for watching Dave
Great video. Absolutely cracking job on the van build! I have exactly the same van with almost the exact same layout and same windows, but the interior shown here is much neater 😁👍
It's the best camper I've ever seen. It's the best camping car that's so neat and multi-designed, practical and never flawless. Neat, perfect camper!!!
He has managed to do a lot in the space Darren. That multi purpose living area works so well. I think if you can do things like that in a smaller space then you are on to a winner👍😀
Steve and Debbie though outside the box to create a great living space inside the box 🤣 Great attention to detail I must add. Well done to both of them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And well done yourselves guys for bringing us this very well presented van tour 💎💎
Thankyou😀 It is an amazing build and feels like a professional coach built van. Some very innovative ideas employed too in it. Take care....almost the weekend😀
Hi Steve thanks for the video of your Renault. I have not long purchased a Master Mini Bus with the view to convert it into a Campervan. A passion I have had for a very long time, although my wife does not share my passion. At the age of 65 I decided sod it if I don't do it now I never will. I have started by removing some of the seats and stopped to do some jobs around the home. But having watched your video I will be getting back to it very soon. Like your steps something I will add to my van. I like your idea of the bulk head which I am going to nick. My mini bus has a false floor and I am hoping I can put a shower tray below the false floor to nick your idea of a shower in the living area. Paul!
I almost gave up on this video because he was being interviewed for more than 3 long minutes in front of a mobile home. Where's the van? But I hung in there and this gentleman was chock full of clever ideas. I would like to hear more of the Renault versus other van's.
We can't really comment on other vans as we like our own Renault and it works for us. Part of looking at a van is putting the owners at ease. Often they get very nervous or shy if they have a camera pointed at them and arent used to it. He was enthusiastic about his van and we wanted to show that before we went inside. He certainly does have some good ideas which he has implemented.
Best idea for a shower. No need for it to take up a lot of space. But then he takes all that space for the toilet! I would have the toilet slide out into the space he's using to shower, with the same curtain. Good idea for kids' bed.
Toilets are a strange thing in a van. So many different ideas on how to do it. We have a toilet that we lift in and out rather than it taking up room in the living area. It lives under the bed out of the way. We like the extra space in the living area.
very nice build well thought out and seems very functional. just one question that has nothing to do with the conversion. what kind of place was that with all those little buildings on blocks?
The owners came to see us at our holiday caravan. The place is a static caravan park where we own ours. It is a lovely van build. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
What a grand bloke he was and what a fantastic job. That 2nd bed brilliant, I have saved about 20 of these sort of vids for the 20 cracking ideas which I will put into my next build, so that second bed will be there. Would never have a built in shower, an outside proper scrub down shower once a week then morning and night bowl wash is good enough for anybody. Thanks for sharing these tours. I have two dogs bloody hard work in van, next van is having garage, straight up in the back clean off dry to a fashion then allow them in the front with us.
Thanks Michael. Glad that you are finding the tours useful. We got a lot of ideas for our van from looking g at others. Yep it is hard work with dogs, but fun too......apart from when they are wet as you say. Thanks again
@@CampervanTales Thank you - yes indeed very well built. Being German I have so far concentrated mainly on vans built by German youtubers but with woodworking as a hobby I have already learned that the UK and US offer a huge variety in techniques that are unknown or uncommon here. What a lovely place for us to gather and share the good ideas of the world in a common spirit. THANK YOU !
He has done an amazing job on it, it is certainly as good, if not better than some professional builds that we have seen. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
It is so much better than some of the factory built vans and works perfectly. Another good build on our channel is the recent Vivaro build that one of our friends has recently done. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
What a neat build. Lovely to look at. But, I do feel after years of motorhoming the toilet area must be enclosed and private, with a wash basin. Also, I could never tolerate getting out of the van on a raining day to get into the living area dragging rain and mud with me.
Its each to their own I guess. We have a toilet that lives in the garage of the van and we lift it in and out as we need it. I suppose it depends what you want and how comfortable your are in your others halves company. We like the extra space we have in our van that would be taken up by a cubicle
