I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Dave for a good 30 minutes at the Machines In Music event this past October in Brooklyn. Not only is he the world's nicest guy, but you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. Can't wait until the Assimil8or ships! 🎹

Nope, Dave founded Emu back in the 1970's.

My first sampler was an Emu Emax II SE HD that I bought used in the mid '90s. It's nice to see Rossum doing his thing again.

Yes! Getting your hands on those modern techno-marvels, and making them do something that you maybe never tried (maybe nobody has ever tried) before! ‘Unusual modulations’...- you can tell that he really hit the drawing board with a fresh perspective and drew this up with a very experimental attitude. Very jealous to see the smiles!

I'm surprised he didn't have it setup to do something more impressive. I'm no Dave Rossum, but I wouldn't feel like I convinced anyone to buy this thing if I gave that demo.

@Sequential Circuits Do you think he did a good job presenting? I mean honestly? No disrespect to Dave as an engineer whatsoever. But you have to admit... it's not a good presentation. Breathe deep buddy it's gonna be OK.
