Tomas from Xor-Electronics welcomed us to his 80s/90s inspired booth, and after a look at his Hasslehof posters, we got a taste of his NerdSEQ sequencer.
The NerdSEQ is a tracker-style sequencer, with 8 tracks each with 3 CV and gate outs. there's 2 additional outputs for 4 audio tracks allowing sample sequencing and it does 4 Operator FM Synthesis. It even has an optional Video out should you wish to view the tracker interface on your old tv.

I have this sequencer, I love it a lot. Can't really see myself ever buying a different sequencer for modulars. It's just fantastically flexible and powerful compared to all other eurorack sequencers. Nothing even comes remotely close. Like at all. Nerdseq is decades ahead in terms of functionality, cause Trackers are great for this specific stuff. Far more so than a normal timeline type sequencer or some super primitive step sequencer. The ways tracks can interact with eachother, all the trigger effects and the super awesome randomization features and the tables for micro arpeggios and stuff per beat... god damn, it's so good.

It is on hold until parts are available again. So I focus right now on the 2 upcoming expanders for the NerdSEQ and hopefully right after that I can put 100% into the portable.

So I understood that recording triggers is possible from the launchpad.. how about recording pitch info ?? does anyone know?? thanks

The pitch is dialed in using the knob on the module as you can see in this demo.

TFW you hear the interviewer mispronounce XOR and are reminded of the fact that not everyone is a programmer and has learned boolean algebra at some point. XD
