At Superbooth 2024, Andy from A Magic Pulsewave showcased some of his latest creations, including the* Melody Oracle*, Star Song*, and *Touch Tones modules. The Melody Oracle *is a pattern-generating synthesizer in the form of a triangular board game with a square wave synth, while the *Star Song features a unique sequencer programmed with an optical disc. Lastly, the Touch Tones is a touch-controlled synthesizer with a three-octave system for sound generation. Each module is designed to be standalone but can also be expanded with the Expandor for additional functionality.

This is Mad Science, this is absolute inspiration and brilliance. It’s amazing to see new gear that isn’t simply another iteration on the same tried and true products you see every year-these are high concept and THEY WORK. Like way to get your mind awake and engaged in your art. And beyond the brilliant design, the sonic possibilities, the method with which he works-Any and all of these modules can hold their own just on a visual aesthetic basis, these are art objects that would fit just as well in a gallery of modern art as they would in your layout for a live set. Andy and his Magic Pulswave really gifted Superbooth with something eholly original and beautiful. I really hope these take off, I know I want a few of these just to knock all of the dust and rules off of my modular rack(and shit yeah, just to sit back and watch them work, they are total stunners!) More really original work like this every year, keep us gear monkeys on our toes! Thank you for the gargantuan imagination man!

Your instruments are very inspiring and unique. We are so lucky to benefit from your creativity. Thank you. I am enjoying exploring all of the Sonic possibilities with the star song and I'm figuring out fun connections.
