At Superbooth 2024, Timo from Supercritical showcased the *Redshift 6*, an analog polysynth with six voices. The Redshift 6 features a versatile *Demon Core *DCO design that allows for up to 16 notes to be played simultaneously. The synth offers a range of engines, unique sync tricks for creating complex, polyphonic sounds, and it's 6 part multitimbral. The filter section boasts a multimode filter engine with customizable character settings and a phaser engine for classic phaser effects.
In addition to its powerful sound engine, the Redshift 6 includes a stereo mix bus with per-voice panning and a digital effects section with delay, chorus, and reverb (expected in future updates). It's all analog until the bypassable stereo DSP effects processor.

@@Systemv1 No he said DCO. It's not that wild. The Matriarch has 5 VCOs (4 regular and one LFO that can track all across the frequency range). So unless he's lying, which I mean that would be ridiculous it's DCOs. Which is great. Sounds really good.

Some very usable sounds, an interesting range of capabilities, and it looks pretty straightforward to program and perform. That's all fantastic in itself. Then there is the sound... I need more time listening to it but it sounds good here. While the synth is distinctive in its tech I'll be looking to find out not only what it does well but what makes it distinctive in its sound. I think this is really promising.

Clever , flexible, and most importantly sounds pretty good ( in the limited demo ) Watching for sure. Wonder if the architecture would allow for PWM on the Saw Wave in an update?

@@Etienne.6329 observation not a complaint, on paper its one of the most exciting synths ever, analog and filters designer, 16 notes per voice, routing and cascading the voices, true stereo, multiple outs, lots of modulations and the manufacture dedication but in my opinion, and i'm usually into strange and weird its just kinda ugly, the render was not that great too but this is way uglier, this this light red/blue looks completely different, like you wrote before you edited your reply it does look like a prototype, oh well, capable and ugly it is :)
