For recording or for content? For recording the built in memory should be fine for quite a bit of content. For content I’d recommend a Nas drive setup as the built in apps will more than cover most needs and any additional content you already have would be better suited on a NAS drive.

I never use the function personally as I only watch live sports and everything else I download or watch via VOD. Error 404 probably normally refers to invalid location so most likely it doesn’t have permission to record so may need to be enabled in your file access. It usually prompts you when you first go into an app to allow hard drive access.

Elite 3 has only 2-6 elite apps (they’re including the standard apps in elite on their list) from what I’ve seen and the SuperBOX elite ultra has about 14-16 (more being added all the time). Elite 3 appears to have Android 9.0 and the ultra has Android 12.0 Bluetooth is better on the ultra as well with Bluetooth 5.2 compared to 4.1 on the elite 3. I haven’t personally tested the elite 3 but from the details it looks like a stepped down version of the elite pro+ from 2023 and the elite ultra is the top of the range model. With the discounts listed in the description of this video you’ll probably find the elite 3 and this model end up pretty close and for that I’d always recommend you pay the extra and get the better unit as the extra elite apps can’t be added to a box that isn’t the elite ultra.

The other boxes may have a few channels for ufc but this box has dedicated folders for different sports. It also has numerous backups just in case one app goes down as well as a sports dedicated app as well. However in one of your videos I believe you said playback doesn't work properly in these boxes. Also, if the box stops working do you lose access to your account and access to the live tv? ​@@ClaudioPallone-hc6ed Hi Claudio, regarding the playback, I typically watch my basketball games on playback if I miss it live. I find it better to watch it on ESPN or ABC or TNT where it was originally broadcasted for best accuracy. With the UFC fights, you are able to watch them on playback typically the next do or so. If you have the Elite Ultra though(the one on the video above), you are able to go to a few different apps which allow you to record so you can watch it at your convenience. Robinhood TV or even Area 51 among 3-4 other apps that have live TV will allow you to record it. Hope this helps.

There’s a few models, this one is the SuperBOX elite ultra and I’ve linked it in the description below with the discount code. The box I was referring to was the elite pro+ which has more packages that the normal S5/S5 max but not all of the ones on this box. I’ve not tested that model but even from their website it and the review it’s clear it has less packages. There are Korean channels listed in some of the elite apps, there’s around 18 or so elite apps so some of these will have Korean channels.

Couldn’t disagree more, if it buffers its down to your connection, even using a VPN I never get any buffering, for most streams you only need 10mbps+ so anything half decent will do. If you’re referring to the buffering on some of the VOD then you need to understand which ones are torrent based and how that works but being the elite ultra there’s plenty of alternatives. As for the additional premium apps, they’re the whole reason you would buy this box as it offers coverage for every sport (with multiple redundant apps in case one goes down) covers every movie and tv show and this seller in particular offers fantastic after sales support as well. Comparing the S5 pro to the elite ultra is like comparing a ford focus to an S-Class merc. The standard S5/pro/max and even the elite are fine for people who just want basic tv but for those wanting to actually get something that will cover every need the elite ultra is in a league of its own. @MATechRU-vid Customer service told me it was the Elite 3rd party apps causing the problem. Also, tried Blue app VOD no problem. No problem with Kodi non-debrid builds, Flixvision or SuperBox S5 Pro. Just Elite apps frame freezing. Nothing major, but still odd, it exists as customer service declared it to be.

I use the elite ultra and get no freezing so not sure what they’re telling you. What content are you getting freezing on? Live tv or VOD? There are certain apps that need a VPN to log in and even when I’m using them I don’t get any freezing, most have multiple servers you can choose from as well.

@MATechRU-vid Simply they don't care about Elite apps buffering problem. Because customer service said they are 3rd party. They are only able to assist if problems arise with Blue VOD, Blue Playback and Blue backup. But, in my opinion, one does not need all 12 of those other apps. No problems with the sports app during brief usage. However, 10 of them could be redundant, as most of them do the same stuff. As for the price , I feel the boxes could be highly cord cutter cost positive. Both S5 Pro and Elite Plus worth the money I paid in my opinion.

You get what you pay for, most the other boxes I’ve seen all have the same 1400-1600 channels which isn’t suitable for most sports. This has every sport covered and after just a few PPV events will mean it’s paid for itself.

@jeeplvr2000 find another box that like it that’s been out for 7+ years… many cheaper boxes is correct but none that is still working… and if they are, you are paying a monthly or yearly fee for it

Does the GT king include any content? From what I can see it’s just an android box tv box without any packages included. The elite ultra has multiple packages (more being added all the time) with 10K+ channels, movies and tv series as well as PPV events and more.

Yes, it’s added more apps since and will probably continue to do so. The elite ultra gets the most updates out of any box I’ve tested so far.

You clearly haven’t used the elite ultra because if you had you’d know about all the premium apps. As for the hardware shutting off I’ve tested every variant of the SuperBOX and not a single one has shut off by itself. You should also be using wired connections with all streaming boxes anyway so WiFi for me is irrelevant As for customer service, if you use the DWIT seller then he offers after sales support directly.

I do agree that customer service is not great for Superbox… that’s why I’ve focused on that aspect for my customers and superbox customers… the product is great but you are correct in regards to customer service not being anywhere near what the standards should be.
