I still use my s2pro which I bought about 4 years ago and still works fine except they stopped sending me updates about a years and a half ago. But I still watch movies and ppv on weekends with it. Be aware they only send you updates for about 2 years to force you buying a newer model.

Sounds like cell phones also. And tvs. And pretty much every single electronic that says will give updates. Most life span of stuff is a certain time frame until it bricks. They are no longer sending updates so it doesn't brick

@@christiannieto6948 I actually got it off Amazon. My thinking is that it would be easier to return if I didn’t like it rather than the official website. It absolutely love it! My girlfriend and her family have even purchased them and we all love them. 4 total between our houses. It’s totally worth it. Just make sure to update it upon setup and you’re good

The remote is indeed Bluetooth and doesn't need to be pointed at the device using the IR. You just need to turn it on in the settings.

Rohas been following you for years, we need to know about a vpn on all these type of boxes, I would like add my express vpn and another IPTV service in case of any downtime. Does adding my own vpn make the box unstable or is the vpn build in on these of boxes and it doesn't matter what you download and watch your ISP Provider can't see what your doing. There isn't one vid out there on all these type of boxes that talk about consumer safety as in vpn.

I’ve had this box for two weeks now and it’s the worst. I was a SuperBox fans until this version. The box resets on its own, can never remember where it last played on a movie (VOD), live tv freezes and sometimes the Bluetooth remote doesn’t work. Because I had so much faith in SuperBox, I purchased 3 units. None have worked correctly. Lastly, customer service did try to fix these boxes, however, after 48 hours, the majority of the issues returned. I would not recommend the Max5.

Dang that's to bad. Haven't had these issues on the ones I tested. You might have some sort of maleware. Ask for a swap

Has anyone had problems with the device turning off when dormant? I've gone into the settings so that it doesn't go into sleep mode or turn on/off with tv. I find I currently have to unplug and plug in each time.

The only features viewers care about with loaded boxes are what can't be shown on RU-vid: live tv and vod. Troypoint says save your money. They aren't worth the headache.

Check out the superbox elite ultra it is a better box it has a 128 GB and 17 application on it it works great it has no trouble with the power when you turn it on it goes on you shut off it goes off I own two of them I like it so much I bought two boxes one for my living room and one from my bedroom❤❤

No monthly fees. So the way i see it $10-50 dllrs a month adds up if you keep paying monthly. These don't buffer as much as iptv.

I can’t get the infrared on the remote to work. Having to unplug and plug in just to turn on the box then the Bluetooth kicks in and I can control from there. Anyone else have this issue?

Hdmi settings on your tv problem... I believe turning off Anynet+ is the resolution!!!

Hi, I have a question. I do have the superbox max. However, the issue is turning it on from the remote. I can turn off the super box with the remote, but the next day It does not power on from the remote. For me to turn it on, I have to disconnect the cord on the back of the box and plug it back in, and then power comes on. This is a drag. Have you had any issues like this with the superbox, and if so, do you have any suggestions with this issue? Thanks

I bought 2 of them and both have issues when left powered on and not watching I get a Red light and unable to power on with remote, have to unplug every time and plug back to for it to work. Anyone else have this problem?

I do not have that model cuz I heard there was too many complaints about it I have the super box elite ultra and it works really good when you turn it on it goes on you shut off it goes off it has 128 memory it has 22 applications in it works great I like my super box elite ultra is the best one at superbox made❤❤

@@jameschairez5074 check you tv settings. On mines I have to adjust anynet+, I believe. At 1st I had to unplug it everytime for it to turn back on after I turned it off with the remote.

I've been getting kicked out just like you did at the beginning of your video. It happens everyday. But it seems to have improved to once or twice a day. May be some of the updates have helped. Not sure though if that's the case.

No, upgrading has nothing to do with getting more apps. The only real difference between the Pro, Max, & Elite is the amount of internal storage. The Pro has 32GB, Max has 64Gb, and Elite has 128Gb. The preloaded apps are the same on all 3, to get other apps you will have to download and install them yourself.
