Actually winds me up when you see a selfish person driving an amazing piece of engineering, you car is legally required to have a front plate and if it doesn’t your car can be seized. 488 pista - had one but might as well not have bothered because it was so small Huracan performante - Owner hasn’t even bothered. Deserves a fine. GT3 - Again deserves a fine. Completely selfish. Huracan spyder - Likewise deserves a fine. Doesn’t deserve that car clearly. GT-R - Just like the others, deserves a fine. 570s - Deserves a fine. Having a front number plate isn’t a choice it’s a law. People who do this are completely selfish and don’t deserve a car let alone a supercar. I don’t care if it’s hard to find a place for them to fit or it makes the car look ugly. It’s a legal requirement and people with supercars and hypercars need to follow the rules like everyone else does.

Well first off, it does make the car look uglier. Most of these cars don't even have anything to mount it too. I've seen people who have to zip tie it because there isnt another option. There are so many super cars that run without front plates for that reason alone. What are they going to do? Seize every single car out there? Also to call them selfish or say they dont deserve their cars is utterly hilarious. They have money to afford the car, they can afford the risk of getting fined to avoid drilling into their car or making it look less appealing.

Well, you're a little wrong. For example, in the US in some states you can not install the front license plate on the car in the presence of the rear license plate. And that's what I wanted to say, sometimes the front license plate spoils the look of the car. So the police or road cameras can identify cars by the rear license plate.

I knew all these replies would be like “They have nothing to mount it to” “It makes the car look uglier” to be honest I don’t care. It’s a legal requirement and everyone has to obey it. And to say that they can afford a fine just makes you sound selfish as well so maybe think of the other road users before the look of a car

And I’m not wrong. The European road law states a car must have a front and rear number plate for identification. Although now a days cameras take pictures of the rear plate portable speed cameras don’t and that is why you are required to have a front plate
