Supercharged 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Kurt Urban LS2 6.0L T56 700HP Build Project
We present you the winner at 21st Goodguys PPG Nationals Columbus, OH, “Street Machine of the Year 2018”. As you can see, it is this mesmerizing and elegant “TUX” 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, which was built by Detroit Speed, Inc.
Kyle Tucker from Detroit Speed Inc, explains their built, which also we will make a small overview of this gorgeous award winning ’69 Camaro. First, the beautiful shaped body painted in deep glossy black color, which is combined with chromed trim, bumpers and stunning wheels, gives an outstanding and elegant stance.
The interior has been completely redesigned by M&M Hot Rod Interiors. Inside we can see the modernized dashboard with Classic Instruments gauges, center console equipped with Vintage Air AC unit and media console. All that is finished with a high quality gray leather and aluminum details, comfortable bucket seats and modern steering wheel.
The engine bay is super clean and equipped with a Harrop-supercharged Kurt Urban LS2 small-block V8 engine, mated to a six-speed T56 Bowler Performance transmission. Underneath it has a Detroit Speed suspension, which is secured by powerful Baer brakes and vented rotors. The gorgeous chromed 19-inch front and 20-inch Forgeline wheels are one-off DSE-designed and wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
