The key is running an LS400 idler fan pulley to delete the hydraulic fan and motor, then replace the plastic radiator for an aluminum one with trans cooler, relocate battery to trunk and now you have space for your turbo(s)/pro charger. A budget build would be to use an FMU but a standalone is going to give you digital dash options which is already a quality of life upgrade for an SC.
It"s meant to have a wide body kit that why the fitment is off. Once you do a set of wide fenders with the kit it should blend in. But nice job !!! Also cd009 will do the job. Do a kbd front bumper too. It will look nice to match the kit. The vertex style.
hey bro nice video, i have the same fancy touch screen unit in mine and want to swap it for your setup with a simple aircon panel and an aftermarket unit, how difficult was it and what was involved
Hi bro, nice build, one day i will also supercharge mine sc400 93. I have doubt, I’m pretty new for sc 400. The matter is mine sc cabin get too hot with engine heat. Haven’t any idea. Any suggestions do i have to worry about it ?
Thanks i appreciate it and ya mine does too, I think mine is coming from the trans tunnel where we had to cut to put in the 5 speed swap in at but definitely something I want to figure out because I’m tired of the heat😂
Which mishimoto radiator and fans did you go with?, i have a 92’ SC400 automatic, im trying to find a good radiator now with electric fans, i didnt see anything for the SC on mishimoto’s website
Nice build, would recommend the CD009 trans as well. Also, because you have the 1st generation 1UZ, you may want to consider turbo; as these piston rods came forged from the factory.
