i just wish the NC national forest would not close all of the forest roads during winter! (i also wish for WAY more snow in nc, hopefully this year is better)
Hey Idaho Man, as I stated she is a big girl, yes she is 4x4 and has front lockers and I don't do much snow wheeling, so your deep powder would be all new since I've moved to Idaho, used to drive in New Hampshire 5'-6' powder, will that work where you wheel too
Hey Idaho Man, where do ya'll usually run, loved to join you, the only thing is I drive a huge Ford f-350 super duty 6.4 liter crew cab long bed, would I be able to run most of the trails?
Usually we go out of Clarkston Washington up to the mountains. The snow can be weird though. Right now it’s pretty powdery for the most part, later on in the winter it can turn into a sugar mess where you have to go slow and creep on top. We’ve had a couple full size pickups try and come with and they have had to bail because they just couldn’t keep up for whatever reason. Could be a fun time!
FK Half the the best time of going off road is getting stuck and working out, the other half is watching someone else get stuck and learning what not to do and drinking a beer and chatting.
Cool video mate. Interesting to see the different dynamics between the auto & 5 speed(which I’m used too) ….I’m never on the rev limiter but not driving them like you blokes are. An absolute with these rigs is that you do headers & intake or it just doesn’t work out as well. 7th mod is highly recommended also if one is going to on it.
Dame tearing it up would like to see all you come drive through our mountain like that in the snow, I live in grants new Mexico, Mt Taylor mountain to make it to the top almost impossible in the snow with out tracks!!
All of them are completely stock! We all have 180k-250k miles on stock 3.4 with a supercharger, 2.1 pulley and the 7th injector. The engines amaze me every time we go wheeling and they don’t blow up 🤣
