This guy has a long history developing Super Charging for very small motorcycles !His website is loaded with information and historical pictures too ! He has been working for years to bring this to market. Not Bullshit !
I wish you would have been around back in the 70s when I had to cheat and put a older CL70 gearbox and motor in my old 1976 Z50. It would have been even more fun with one of your blowers on that. Maybe you should try it on the 70 and see how it works. Pretty sweet set-up you got there.
Deep Purple is my favourite. I am thinking to appoint "Speed King" as the official hymn of the "supercharger for 50cc 2-wheeler" project! Anyway, please, visit our site: s-charger.com/
Brian Black: ... sliding vane compressor with a built-in plenum? Quite correct. Brian Black: Nice and clean setup... Thanks a lot for the kind words. We did a lot of work to do, indeed.
Great idea! seems like a good way to boost a few extra horsepower from standing starts. Did you need to modify the cooling system for the motor? Can't wait to see this on the shelves.
i never thought that you installed a supercharger and your bike got music..... you want to highlight your bike with supercharger or the music in this video?
I would have LIKED to have heard this bike, but I had to listen to some jackass's idea of music that polluted the entire video. Grow up boys--turn off the freakin music.
Are there any news on this product? I will happily buy a proto type at almost any cost if possible. This would also get you to the attention of the danes, since i am a major personality on the biggest of our forums and a modification like this would not go unnoticed. It would be great to finally show the true power potential of four-stroke engines . :)
I am very eager to see this kit hit the market. The plan is to get my 50cc scooter registered as a motorcycle this summer, but i will need the supercharger if i want to get the power without increasing the displacement volume. :) Have you found any partners for the mass production yet? :D
... Did you need to modify the cooling system for the motor? No any changes to the stock model, indeed. We did special tests. The temperature under the spark plug is the same that stock engine has. Oil cooler would be fine but it is optional.
hi, I will probably email you regarding this tomorrow, but in case i forget. i am interested in buyin a few of these, i am starting up a small business in norway selling supercubs and would love to try one of these blower kits on one of my bikes.
If your trying to wheele with that bike keep it in second go kinda slow rev it while you pull the bike up, I can keep a wheelie up on my 1969 minitrail all original no upgrades for a pretty long way, my farthest was about 20 meters like 9 revs or 10 revs you can keep it up forever if your good enough, especially with that much power
If you want to fit a supercharger, you MUST decrease compression ratio low!!Ask everyone ,who understand it or buy a manual called "Street Supercharging"
This ratio does not work properly for small engines especially with 50cc engine displacement. Why it is so - please, read our Report "LONCIN Motorcycle Engine Design Investigation" here: www.dropbox.com/s/o5fi0gyec2uxkxt/LoncinC162FMJ.pdf Also I strongly recommend you to look through these two monographs: (A) John Heywood, Internal Combustion Engine Fundamentals. McGraw-Hill, Inc, 1988 -Section 6.8.3 Compressors, pp 255-262. - the book called as “Engine Bible” (B) Heinz Heisler, Advanced Engine Technology. SAE international, 1997 - Chapter 6 Supercharging Systems, pp 287-363
Kosta Stark Well,it´s your engine...I read many books from engineers and scientists of this and they wrote this ,as I said...Bigger inlet valve, slow camshaft and lower compression ratio...Don´t want to offend anyone or say you´re doing it wrong, but have other informations from constructors of race engines and so...Well,maybe its different by supercharging of this small displacement...I just read books you recomend to me...P.S-I saw totally destroyed dragster engine from this reason,Honda 1500 ,6-cylinder..sad look...Bye and thanks...
Norbert Pešek I agree. You have read many books but we have done these numerous R&D by our own hands. We have answered this question many times including the SAE report in Taiwan SETC 2013 conference, see our article here: papers.sae.org/2013-32-9015/ Our main goal was to provide a BALANCE between having max boost pressure without destroing the engine mainly at the reasons of (a) detonation and (b) working temperature increased. Anyway we plan to continue research on phenomenon of the so-called undersupercharged case that applies to small engines only. Again, read the Report "LONCIN Motorcycle Engine Design Investigation" especially the section 3.2 "Second Degree Modification" where we gave the reasons why we stand for the implementation superchargers in small engines.
Your an asshat. You dont need less compression to boost, you need LESS BOOST for HIGH COMPRESSION. High compression motors are the best to boost, they need less boost to make the same power, resulting in less boost lag. Fuck off
Do you even know anything about tuning a motor? It is all about raising the amount of mixture in the combustion chamber and minimising pump losses. A tuned exhaust, which is hard to find tuned to less than 11k rpm, would raise the VE a bit but not even as much as a compressor. A tuned exhaust and intake wont even take you to a VE of 1 on an engine like this, but a boost would easily get you above that.
can this be installed on underbones (honda wave dash, suzuki skydrive, etc) if not can it be installed on light cc cycles (kawasaki rouser or tvs apache or motorstar 200 r)? if so please reply
Ok the music was a bit loud and they could have kept it in the background. Makes you wonder if the people complaining about the music would still complain if it was gangster rap shite. Can't help thinking a lot of them are chavs who just dont like rock music. Food for thought, methinks.
