I remember when Lexus made that hoverboard using the same method.

Take this idea or leave it. I like to get creative. But, say we were to have the temperature of an object be controllable to the level of what lets say a light does, on and off. And say we would need a ton of electrical energy to power that, we could use what Tesla created, the free electricity tower and look into ways that can really make that happen. That would solve some of the pieces to this puzzle for the start up, obviously you'd have to legitimately get the job down before any of the other thing I mention can even be possible. Btw this is all a hypothesis so don't take it too literal unless you can find evidence that can be used to make this into something. Point being, Lets say we have a large superconductor on a device which has on and off capabilities and an unlimited power source that can be used to aid changing the tempreture from room temp to burning hot. Then lets introduce some of the cooling tech that has been created in this day and age. You can really make something hover with this tech to long distance periods as well. What if then you were to make this into something which you'd see portable, once it can be portable you can make it a centre point between some area's, and imagine having a trail line of magnet, Supported by the portable tempreture changer device. How far do you think this can go?

Is it possible that a planet with a powerful magnetic field, where the temperature is very low and superconductive material are present exists? And if so, does that mean a planet that has large chunks of land floating above it’s surface can possibly exist?

Well theoretically you can also go other way around and make magnet levitate over superconductors... I remember doing that in a lab (physics major is so much fun sometimes)

Imagine Hover Hockey where the puck levitates just above the ground and the players use shoes with the same structure to all hover over a magnetic field. I don't know / can't think of any practical uses at the moment, but you have to admit, that it would be epic.
