Nicole Maines who plays Nia is transgender and was the subject of a recently famous court case in Maine about gender identity and human rights (she won the case). I believe they intend for the character of Nia to also be transgender on the show.

It’s interesting if they play it right they could also show how feminism has changed over the years. The words that Kara say have been said by many white women over the years, they got closer to their male counterparts and have kinda let things slide. Here’s hoping for complex storylines!!🍻

As soon as super villan guy entered screen walking down corridor, all I shouted was " no, Percy you douche don't bother. " Urghhhh that guy lol the only thing he did right was that gut wrenching scene where he got shot and Miranda (Chandra ) desperately tried to save him with Mandy moore and the elevator wouldn't work due to emergency shut down. While the episode was OK i do feel like Supergirl is repeating the same patterns over and over again. The Alien hate, the political BS. And its also very predictable. I can already smell Lena falling down the rabbit hole and a break up with James from a mile away. And Kara's doppelganger possibly being this season's villain.
