Supergirl 4x21 REACTION!! "Red Dawn" 

There casting was great those were great representations of little Kara and Alex and brainy is my child and he needs to be protected at all times

Loved this episode, hell been loving this season. It got me back into Supergirl. I can't wait to see how everything wraps up.

Pretty good episode imo ,one of the best of the season . The Lena,James and Lockwood stuff was fine , I enjoyed the moments with Lena and Lillian aswell as Lockwood finally finding out that he has been a pawn in Lex’s chess game . The Alex-Kara stuff was enjoyable . The emotional core of the show has been the sisterly bond between those two and this episode went back to that . I feel this Alex memory wipe story was there to give more conflict for Kara but ultimately end up strengthening the bond between her and Alex even more . The fight with Red Daughter was kinda cool though I hope she didn’t die offscreen by Lex's hand , I wish she gets comeuppance on Lex but if not , it’s a tragic ending for a character who was another pawn of Lex’s. The Brainy-Nia and J’onn stuff was fun too . Sam Witwer playing Brainy impersonating Lockwood was funny however the actual MVP of this episode was Jesse Rath. The breakdown he has during his “reboot” was amazingly acted and his portrayal of an emotionless ,colder Brainy was great and i enjoyed his fight aswell . I’m so intrigued to see how his particular story ends this season since we have seen him deal with his emotions all season.

I was thinking about how plants go through photosynthesis, they take in sunlight so I guess Supergirl was taking in what the plants absorbed during the day, but those plants should be dead

The Kryptonite didn’t affect Red Daughter initially as it was in a lead-lined case pointed at Kara. I have no idea how the sun got blocked out, but pulling sunlight from plants has happened in the comics.

Wondering if Brainiac 5 returning to Supergirl's time wasn't an accident. According to Brainiac 5, a threat in the 31st century replaced the Blight in the form of an AI "distant relative" attacking all other AIs like Brainiac 5. Is it possible that by sending Brainiac 5 to the past, to avoid the new threat, they inadvertently created that threat in the first place, by placing a 31st century AI, with the original Brainiac's memories and personality locked away, in the 21st century, were Brainiac is accidentally released, becoming a new threat to their universe in the process, one that has 1,000 years of time to create contingencies, copies, anything and everything in order to never be defeated again. To be fair, Brainiac was an equal threat to Darkseid in the DCAU, so bringing him into Arrowverse after we got Lex is a good way of upping the ante and getting the ground work ready for a really, really dangerous villain in the future.

I know the part where she pulls the sunlight is kinda rediculous but I think it really shows how distraught Alex would be if Kara would’ve died. I forking love the Danvers sister dynamic there is no series where the sister dynamic is acted out better than in Supergirl in my opinion

I see the writers are huge fans of that movie SPLIT, because they made brainy had a split personality scene just like James mcavory did in the movie

Her please after saying take the grass killed me and brought on the feels. It would have been a ridiculous line of it hadn't been for how Chyler said"please". That painful almost begging tone just floored me. So much pain in that one word. She remembered everything at once and that includes how she treated Supergirl and she may never get to apologize. I felt all of that in just that please.

Brightburn seems cool and endearing ! Glad you get to see it guys ! ^^ I always like when we can have alternate stories to wide-known superhero journeys. Especially cute mother / son relationships ! Little prediction : next season will give us Brainiac 5 (as in "season 5" ? XD) as main antagonist. Our heroes will need the best brains in order to fight back. Lena, Lilian... and Lex, teaming up. ^^ Kinda like X-Men 2 when our heroes decided to fight alongside with Magneto and Mystique.

I think that in the next episode they will flash back to what happened in the invasion and with Red Daughter

Gotta say, great episode, brainy was badass, but I just had to say "really?" At the beginning when Kara has apparently developed a tolerance to kryptonite, and when she starts taking the sunlight from the plants

That brainy thing was definitely a callback or maybe a foreshadowing of the big bad of the series- The Brainiac, also called The Collector

I remember Kevin Smith telling a story of directing an episode of Supergirl. Where Melissa and Chyler had a scene to do. And Kevin brought up a sticker on his finger, "Whoever acts the best, gets the sticker." Chyler turned to Melissa, "You're going down, bitch." They had an acting duel while shooting the scene. So Kevin, "You both get a sticker." Chyler, "That wasn't the rule."

If you look at the clouds in the scene where she is been blasted by the purple lightning, the sun is going down. The cut was probably supossed to show they had been fighting for a while but made it look like the explosion made it go dark.

Something I didn’t think about till seeing the brainy reboot scene a few times When he said boxes get opened and says there’s a story about that Greek I think Made me think of Pandora’s Box and him saying his people were collectors leading me to believe it was someone from his species who opened the box.

I think Lena & Brainy will be the antagonists for season 5, who do y'all think/want to be the villain for next year?

Kara's only been dealing with Kyptonite for the past 4 maybe 5 years.

The grass thing didn't make any sense at all. Red Daughter seemed a little upset that she was dead . I, just like Melanie cried at that Alex and Kara scene, I hope Brainy doesn't become the villain.

Alex just got all her memories back and Kara supposedly died. She wasn't in the right mindset so she said silly things like that, which to an extent makes sense.

I know this is supposed to be a girl show only but why is it when a guy shows up it gets better.

My theory is that in that moment Red Daughter heard Mikhail's (the kasnian kid) heartbeat and that's why she flew so fast. I think Lex asked Otis to hide the kid and fake his death (in the "The House of L" episode) just to use him now.

This show is horrible😂😂 why do you even watch it?!? Look at your views on it🙄
