SUPERHERO CHRISTMAS SPECIALS 2023 

This really makes me realize that Justice League Action got the short end of the stick. It's such a neat little show that that got swept under the rug because CN treats TTG like Nickelodeon treats Spongebob.

I definitely think the Guardians holiday special is worth covering in this series. It’s short and sweet and very wholesome. Almost wild to think it was shot along side Guardians 3

Ben 10's Christmas episode was always a fun one. Though I found it strange that the episode concluded with cameos by three kids who explicitly resembled Naruto's Konohamaru and his friends.

Today I learned that Earth actually exists in He-Man and She-Ra, and through the Christmas special where Skeletor SAVES THE CHILDREN?! Didn't expect to learn that before the end of the year. Thanks, Xavier.

Unless they did a retcon that I'm unaware of, Krypto gave Kevin a translation-type device that he wears on his ear so he can understand animal-speak. They had a whole episode where the device gets lost and Krypto has to recover it.

Being homeschooled and watching Krypto the Superdog, my childhood and Justice League Action was a really good cartoon👌🏾

It's been years since I watched the Ben 10 episode, I never realised how weird it was to have a Christmas episode in a show set in summer until now, makes me wonder if Phineas and Ferb did the same thing. Also I guess Stinkfly is the fastest alien Ben has? Rest in peace XLR8, you will be missed.

I really love Justice League Action. It's a fun underrated series that really didn't get much attention from Cartoon Network, even though it was basically the best light hearted take on the Justice League that they could have gotten. The Christmas episode was pretty fun and captured a lot of the charm the series had. I miss Kevin Conroy too. He seemed like such a kind gentle person. I always wanted Justice League Action to get a revival, even though I knew that was a long shot, but reviving the series without him just wouldn't be the same.

While there are a lot of Kamen Rider Christmas episodes (he counts as a superhero), theres only one I can think of where Santa plays an integral role and even provides a fun Deus Ex Machina. In Kamen Rider Wizard, the titular Wizard guy Haruto has to help a guy get presents to some kids, but he's attacked by a monster. Whats weird is that the monster attacks specifically the presents and Haruto is visited by actual in-universe Santa, who gives him a special one-use power to replace all the presents that were destroyed.

I wish that there was world ending stakes on Christmas like some one moving the earth away from the sun on Christmas

Although it’s not directly a superhero show Transformers Animated has a bit of a superhero feel to it. It aired on Cartoon Network from 2007-2009. It had 2 parter Christmas episodes called Human Error where the Autobots are turned into humans. The only other holiday episode of TFA was Along Came a Spider
