Paul Francis Goneda Two words warner brother they have little faith in teen titans being aimed at anything other then young children because they take the word Teen too serious
Tara Strong's voice acting for raven in the 'go' cartoon is probably the best thing about that show. But I can't understand how she sounds so different in Injustice when it's Tara playing her then as well, it could be as simple as it's an older raven but Cyborg doesn't sound older. And he's voiced by the same guy as well.
They bastardized Teen Titans with Teen Titans Go! !!!! I was so exited when CN mentioned that teen titans was gonna comeback I thought it would be a teen rendition
***** Wait... don't get too hyped. It's not green-lighted yet. But yes it's true! If the pilot is a success we will get _AT LEAST_ Nightwing, Raven and Starfire on the screen. Sadly Cy will be on the Sups vs. Bats movie, so I think he isn't going to be there, at least not in the first season, while Beastboy is damn expensive to make... However I have high hopes for Donna, Kid Flash, Lilith and so on! Let's hope! It can't be worse than TT: GO anyway! ;) The release date isn't confirmed yet, but not sooner than mid 2015. Supergirl is getting a live action show too by the way, it's on CW! And Machinima got the rights for a new Justice League cartoon. DC surprised the show-cast with the news, was fairly funny to see it!^^ They said it's going to be based on the movie _Justice League War_ and have the same dark-greedy style (which means we get more Cy, even if he's not on Titans). . . . I hope you don't die of nerdgasm now! X'D
"They bastardized Teen Titans with Teen Titans Go! !!!!" That's funny. Many comic book fans will say that Teen Titans was bastardized by the first cartoon. I like the old comics, the first cartoon, and (GASP!) the second cartoon.
Raven is my favorite Titan (in both the comics and the animated series). Her backstory is one of the darkest in DC history. I really liked her in the show, especially her dry sense of humor.
i wonder if the disney tv show " That So Raven"'s name came from raven because the main character is portrayed as an adolescent female who spontaneously receives visions from the future and she can not control this power. just a thought......
In the Justice League vs Teen Titans movie, Raven explains her backstory to Beast Boy "Wait so our mom did it with Satan" "His name is Trigon, but yes." "But your mom TOTALLY did it with Satan"
Raven is my favorite hands down, my favorite comic of her's was the Blood Brotherhood...something like that...and I kinda wish they'd animate that storyline.
Raven was my favorite character watching teen titans! starfire was my least favorite, Idk... for some reason her "bubbly-ness" was kinda annoying to me. But everyone has different opinions... but anyways... raven was awesome :)
I would have corrected you and say she would be Princess, but with a face like that It could be a man. Ffs, at least she was acknowledged to be hot in the Teen Titans TV show!
They explained that a long time ago. Said it made more of an argument for her being shut in her room reading books all the time. Annoyed me too, but not as much as the issues they had with Robin.
ThorSon525 Still though even if shes half demon no human could ever truly have pale grey skin just pale white but then again im pretty sure pale white is more creepy than pale grey on a side note I really feel they should have had robin become nightwing after like the third or second season seeing as in the old 80s book he was only robin up until issue 30 The Judas contract (Doubt he would have worn his disco inspired outfit but still would have like to see him as nightwing
The Frenchy Incarnate i think it's common for people to like people who say funny stuff and get angry easy-ish. Raven WAS my favorite character 2-3 years ago.
In many ways, Raven is the heart and soul of the teen titans (at least that's what I think), she brought them together, they all came to love her, she's arguably the most powerful on the team and she's probably the most selfless and the most protective of them, does anyone agree?
"A younger and more angst filled persona." You also forgot to mention better. I mean I love these characters in the comics but I'm convinced that all the best versions of the DC characters are their animated versions. Especially the Titans,
Raven is by far the greatest super hero ever. I mean, she fights evil with the powers of demons and darkness. When you can use "evil" to defeat evil, you've pretty much become the most badass thing to ever exist. Seriously, I don't know how this girl ever lost a fight on the TV show, I mean, she's the most powerful character ever, and I think it's impossible to find a more perfectly rounded and emotionally deep character in any work than her. Brava Raven. May Teen Titans Go fail to extinguish the awesomeness that you will always possess.
***** everyone has diff tastes. Personally, I like the comic and cartoon version despite the diff personalities she has in both. Many ppl in the 80s grew up fans of the comic Raven bc she was pacifistic, vulnerable, caring, and conflicted, whereas they disliked her cartoon counter part bc she's the stereotypical gothic chick.
As a guy who didn't read a lot of comics and only watching DC cartoons, I am surprised to hear that Raven is the founder of Teen Titans. I thought Robin is the founder since he is the leader and Batman's disciple.
She's defiantly my favorite, and the way I see it, the most powerful of all the superhero's-unfortunately it seems to take so much energy to just control those powers her personality true potential are hindered.
I'd like to thank Cartoon Network for destroying an awesome show I grew up with, Teen Titans was a fantastic show and Teen Titans Go! is a joke and Should GO! away.
I love the comic panel(1:09) where Raven said: "...Brought here by one of you own... A man, who in seeking a dream... but found a nightmare instead." It just sounded so mysterious and badass. It actually gave me goosebumps.
1980's New Teen Titans by Perez & Wolfman was freaking awesome! I was a huge X-Men fan and had wanted DC to come out with their own comparable team....man was I surprised when I went to the bookstore to pick up my new batch of comics. The freaking New Teen Titans! They were every bit as exciting as any X-Men adventure I had ever read before. Then the X-Men New Teen Titans crossover....I don't think I slept at all until that book came out.Anyways, the New Teen Titans rock big time! Oh hey before I forget, there's an awesome New Teen Titans mod for Freedom Force that let's you play all the cool characters against the likes of Deathstroke, etc.
Darlen Well,it's been a rocky life but yeah I try and see the silver lining in stuff and have as much fun along the way....if not, what's the point really? :)
Really?. The Teen Titans is a group of teenage superhero sidekicks and you didn't know she was based on a comic book character. All the Teen Titans are from the comics.
I was doing something people call a joke, maybe you didn't realize I said LoL at the end or you didn't read the whole thing before you commented you moronic ass wipe.
Angerful Lairon Calm yourself. Never once, did I curse at you. Stay classy. All you had to say was that you're joking. Stop acting like a little boy that got his feeling hurt and wants to throw a tantrum. Sheesh.
I think we should have an episode for character like Robin, who have multiple variations within the same universe... i know there's like 3 people who become Robin in the main series, Dick Grayson the acrobat, Tim Drake , and according to Wiki, at lest 3 more from there... It would be cool to oversee the ENTIRE history of the boy wonder and all the people who took his role...
You're right, i checked the wiki as i was writing the comment... i just thought it would be pretty wicked to get a 15-ish minute video detailing the history of the entire Robin line, which robins fit in with certain teams (like young Justice and Teen Titans, or if they're in their own universes) and how each of them affected the series and the other characters within the series.
John Samuel I liked him when he became the Red Hood in the Red Hood's debut appearance, but I'd say Dick is my favorite followed by Damian and then Tim.
its cool how you can see the teen evolve and devolve, starting with the old conics, hitting its peek with the teen titans show then hitting the lowest point of teen titans go......PLEASE BRING TEEN TITANS BACK THE NEW ONE GIVES ME CHILLS WHENEVER I SEE IT
KON- EL She can, she's the freaking spawn of the Devil. She's already sole'd the team numerous times when she looses control. She's basically DC's version of Jean Grey(Phoenix) No one can stop her physically.
aquamarine11500 that so strange I seem to remember that when I was taken over by lex luthor I basically tore the titans apart (even when raven was present)
KON- EL Lol yeah, well that's was most likely normal/base Raven. When Raven goes Demon mode, she cannot be stopped. Kryptonians have a natural weakness to magic, and guess what...? Raven's powers are partially psionic and the other half is Dark Magic. Also she really cant die, because she'll just be reborn and reincarnated over and over again. That's juts like saying "Magneto has whooped all the X-men before(including Jean Grey)" But the real question is..was it Jean Grey Phoenix powered?" So yeah basically..I'm saying when Rae goes demon mode ,she's hard to kill, and usually has to be taken out via plot device or luckily turns good in the end and to stop her father.
FrankyTheImmortal No, let that shit burn in the bowls of hell from which it came. Fuck those hipster douchebags who decided to take on a series that they had never even bothered to see before and fuck their pathetic show that spit in the face of every single fan of the original show.
marsjake8 Wow, keep calm, so much hate isn't good for your health... And the show was extremly annoying, but some "real" fans loves it, too (I don't, I didn't even watch the whole first episode)
I'm just playing a role dude? I'm perfectly chilled. But no seriously, when I was younger I loved Teen Titans, so when this came along it was just like a smack to the face.
Teen Titans was and is still my favorite animated show of all time, and I freakin love Teen Titans Go! It's just a comedic twist on a great show. Don't get so wound up on a show that's SUPPOSED to be taken as a joke.
Why? It was still a good show, regardless of what came after. It just sucks that the comeback a lot of us hoped for came in the form of a lame comedy show, instead of the awesome action one we had before.
Slack Attack I'll give you that much. I don't know what they were thinking with TT Go! It's like CN went, "Hey! Teen Titans fans! Did you like the original show........? TOO BAD!"
ReiAyanami8 I have no idea what went through their heads. I guess they thought kids didn't like action anymore and just wanted poorly written comedy. Which, judging by what's popular on TV, is kind of true.
One of my favourite DC characters...I've always found Raven so fascinating and mysterious before the very good Teen Titans Go. That series just made her even better to me. Great character, but, to me, very underestimated...
+Deven Mendoza Well, how much of a history does Raven really have outside the Titans? They explained her origins in the order they're SHOWN; which starts with her bringing the Titans together, then goes on to explain her backstory.
she does seriously needs her own live action movie... she is the character that every film producer could easily make the scripts just same as supergirl (in my opinion)
Ninja07Keaton as I recall correctly, the Simpsons is a show meant for adults, but kids really enjoy watching it,my show would be the same way, but it would have more action in it, just as well, not only will my series involve the teen titans, it will also include Batman, Deadpool, the Punisher, Johnny Test, the Mighty B,Lilo and Stitch, the Simpsons, and Spider-man, just to name a few
This video made me beyond happy. I watched the original animation when I was around three and I still love it. Raven is definitely my favorite character.
***** I wouldn't say it's a bad show per se - it has its hilarious moments at times. I remember this one episode where Trigon came to visit the Teen Titans and acted all cheerful and generous, then gave them all really wacky powers, while casually telling Raven to kill all her friends. It does have a lot of meh episodes though (and some just plain stupid ones), and doesn't compare at all to the original animated show. Not by a long shot.
I think CN noticed that they weren't appealing to younger audiences anymore (which as everyone know is the point of Cartoon Network) So they decided to bring back their original most popular cartoons but more appealing to younger audiences. They did the same thing with the Powerpuff Girls about a month or so back but that only lasted a couple episodes. Teen Titans GO! isn't a bad show, it just isn't appealing to CN's now teen audience.
Long live the Teen Titans (the REAL Teen Titans not the GO kiddie show) There should be a new season since the end of season five was just begging for another season
Seabook Farno Funny how you say that... The mixture of Japanese anime elements into an otherwise American animated show is one of the main reasons why I like it so much. It's very unique and well-done. Of course, this is coming from an anime fan, so...
Yes/no. Yes because we couldn't see a more heroic Raven that much. No since Injustice Raven had given into her dark side. I wish that normal Raven didn't have that demonic voice while Injustice kept it, you know.

Don't even mention that filth of a show called "Teen Titans Go!". I get it, the old plain "Teen Titans" might have been a little to dark at times for kids, but seriously, to butcher it THAT much? I loved "Teen Titans" so much when I was seven years old, and I will still continue to love it. Just... ugh that new show.
it'd be fun to do an origin of "forgotten" Titans, like The Harlequin (Two-Face's daughter) or Bumblebee. it may be interesting for fans of the cartoon to learn about the 1970's team.
This was more an origin story for the teen titans. I think they should have gone into how Raven's mother ran away from home, in which no one cared, she accidentally ran into the cult of trigon and joined them for being entirely lonely etc...
