The Room at 56:00 has a little bit of a different layout in current patches (Xbox). On alarm is next to a doubledoor, the other on the right hand wall. There is also a alarm left of the door at 57:30, right befor you jump up for the chesspiece.
Important: If this door (1:26:33) to the Jungles' Bistro is closed for you, it is because it's always closed on the first playthrough. That's not a huge problem tho, because in the Bistro there only is one chess collectible that you can get through level selection later. So basically, just keep progressing with this guide until to this point (1:42:54). Here he will select level 2 to play the chess game but we need to select level 8 and get the chess collectible first. So, do that and then keep progressing with the guide again. Oh and btw thanks for this guide, it's great! Keep up the good work
FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR THE MISSING FIRE ALARMS AT CHAPTER 5, 49:50 The alarms were moved in the current release of the game. The new locations are: 1. The room where he duplicates all of the alarm clocks to reach the chess piece; youll find it on the right hand wall of that room. 51:16 2. Behind the open door that he climbs up on to grab another chess piece (where he jumps around on all the lights and up on to the pipe) 57:27 There is another one that is in the game now that doesnt show up in this guide. At 58:35 youll find another fire alarm in the second door, just past the first one. Watch the video with this in mind and youll find them! :)
Awesome guide. For those wondering about that corridor puzzle late in Labyrinth (@1:17:08), the reasoning for the solution, is that at each left-right junction, one hallway will be a dead end, the other will be the doorway that takes you to the next junction. The trick, however, is that the dead end is always placed in the _first_ direction you look. If the path forward is in the direction the exit sign is pointing, you get sent to the next numbered hall, otherwise you just get sent back to Hall 1. Therefore, always look in the opposite direction of the sign first to ensure that _that_ path will be the dead end.
At the end, where one pick up the trophy: One can bring the trophy back to the "main menu" area, and have it visible in full glory on the main menu. Redecorate your main menu background as you see fit with all the other items as well.
A bit late as I have only just finished this game but thanks for the excellent guide. Two things; Chapter 1 - Induction - the cheese from hell: I was having severe problems near the end in getting the cheese big enough and in the right position to be able to jump across the hole in the floor to get to one of the series of hidden maps on the other side. In the end I made the cheese very large and wedged up the wall near the ladder, jumped onto the boxes, then onto the ladder, then onto the cheese, and then onto the ducting and then just walked across to the other side of the hole and dropped down. Chapter 5 - Clone: Yes some of the fire alarms have since been moved by the game developers as people apparently thought the game was broken when hitting them more than once caused multiple handles to fall to the floor. Just look out for the moved fire alarms later in the same level.
I bought this game on Switch last year and ragequit because I could not make the cheese wedge big enough in the intro level. Now here I am running through the collectibles. Life. . .finds a way. Thanks for the guide!
I noticed two fire alarms have changed on at least the current Xbox version. You should be able to find the two new locations by the time you get to the room shown at 51:25
Many thanks!! Those constellations and chess pieces were brutally hidden! Don't beat yourself up so much on the controls hahaha good luck on the speedruns!
@@mr.e3987 facts, I use keyboard and mouse but with puzzle games on the pc game pass I will just take my time with the controller and sit back and relax.... not being able to look where you want to is infuriating after about 30 minutes
THANK YOU DUDE. I did a play through before I even watched your video and I never found any of the constellation rooms. After watching your video I was easily able to get all the trophies for the game. Keep up the great work!!
There is no need to use the cheese wedge to cross the shaft at the end of the first section. There is an exit sign near where the cheese was that you can enlarge and carry through to bridge the gap. SO much easier.
Great walkthrough, had watched a few others and techniques / methods of getting chess pieces etc were overly complicated, this guide made them easily achievable!
wow loved this walkthrough and how you described, straight to the point, what had to be done as it meant i didn’t have to keep looking at the video and could easily follow along! subbed! best walkthrough i’ve seen in a while
In the Room at 00:13:30 you can use the 4 available escape signs and try to climb up to the walkway at the very top of the room. It is very difficult, i will admit it, but you will find [Spoiler] ... an Easteregg (litterally).
The game has been patched and there is some changes now. Some of the fire alarms and fire extinguishers are missing. Still following the guide did help me get what I needed. Just don't worry about the missing ones.
Thanks buddy. Absolutely top guide. Directions and instruction were clear and possibly the easiest walkthrough I've ever followed. I had managed to a few of the collectables but without this would never of found most of them. Sincere thanks.
I got the game!! I went back here a couple times to help finish it but overall I tried to get all the collectibles on my own (of course with the memory of this video in mind for a lot) I obviously didn’t get any, but thank you for this! I’m gonna use it to help get all the collectibles and I haven’t finished the video yet due to interruptions so I’ll see what happens on my own!
thank you!! that was an amazing walk-through and super easy to follow. i wouldn't have gotten anything without your help, dude. great job on the video. 😁
In the pool labyrinth I found it easier to grab two soda cans instead of just the one, stacking was easier that way. Spectacular guide man. Best I've seen 👌
At 1:26:34 I go behind that smaller building on the table and the doorway you passed through to get the chess piece in bottles is closed with a sign that says “closed come back later” Edit: I still haven’t gotten this chess piece however a dev on a steam forum mentions that you need to get it on your second play through. It’s closed on the first because many people were confused with how to proceed and apparently spent hours in the jungles bistro trying to figure it out
Easily the most frustratingly addictive game I've played. Currently on chapter 4 and thanks to this guide I'll be re-attempting to get the chess piece in the red room after rage quitting last night 🤣
Chapter 1: Blue Print - Another way I found that works is to go a little to the left of the ladder while facing it, try to get the cheese big, and wedged into the wall almost as high as the vents. You can then jump onto the ladder, the cheese, and onto the vents. After that you can easily walk the vents, right to the other side of the hole.
Thank Christ I saw your comment. I had literally been trying for 30 minutes to get the cheese right to jump across. Took my less than 5 to get it just right to get across! Thank you!
10:30 I tried that with the cheese, no matter how many times I tried, I Failed. luckily the exit sign was also a possibility and that worked, much better than the cheese. 24:29 I found an easier way, made the ramp big and then just made the moon big and placed it just below the skylight and used as a last block to jump on to. made it much easier than what you did.
I have followed this guide exactly and it still says i havent done the fire alarms. In level select it says i havent got them all in chapter 5 but ive been over it and i have them all. Weird.
1:14:10 here's something you might not have realized, but if you go in this sideways hallway all the way to what's supposed to be the ceiling you'll find a surprise waiting for you there.
The chess piece collectible in the vent with the two half cubes can be collected through the vent without actually seeing it. So only make one half cube big enough to climb on then just look up and grab.
At 33:36 instead of using the duck, you can also jump on the floor pillar and click on it at the same time, then you can lift it all the way up while you're on it, I didn't know about the duck so I spent way too much time in that room trying to get that blueprint lol
@@AchievementSquad I do this on console, what you do is stand back from the floor pillar, grab it, use the right stick to make sure it stays down, then when you're stood on it look up and it will extend the pillar
Thank you very much for your video. It is very well explained, I could understand all in your video, and your english was very easy to understand too (I am not a native english speaker). I really loved it. Thanks :)
Hey so on chapter 5 I don’t have the clone fire switch there or the one behind the door that you missed and went back for. Have they tweaked the game? Cause everything up to now has been identical Edit: I found a steam forum where a dev was saying they switched some switches on chapter 5 as people were finding them before the door that you need to duplicate and thinking it was a bug
Thanks man, I just started browsing through the comments to see if anyone else had this issue or if it was just my game haha. I shall carry on with the level and look out for the new locations
It just came to game pass today, followed the guide fully and my soda achievement didn't pop up, neither did any of the collectable ones which is annoying, also the completion achievement didn't pop until I restarted my game. a shame really, was playing this for a good 2 hours
Instead of stacking items, certain rooms are big enough that you could just resize one object by standing on top of it, then quickly jump, grab, release, land, and repeat. The first chess piece is one example of a room that this works in.
This guide is no longer accurate for the fire extinguishers or alarms. Many chapters did not have them in my game where this guide showed where they would be and i found a few by accident that were not in this video.
@AchivementSquad: at the start of chapter 7, where it start with the emergency protocal their his no timer if it his the console version, I remember seeing someone play through, and he was way too slow, and the Narrator only trigger when you reach a certain point on the map, only the end text his time. Only the early version pc version was time, all dialogue of emergecy protocal would activated base on time, in the early PC version.
Pro tip: Most times you can also enlarge objects by walking closer up to them, qnd then pick them up. That method is way easier than dropping them above you since you have more control
The bar on white noise level 8 is closed is because it’s your first play through so when you finish the level go back and I think it should be open it’s to prevent people from getting lost thinking it’s part of the puzzle
Excellent guide thank you 👍, any tips for speed running it? I tried cheating and blitzing level 1 then using the warp to the chess match on level 2 to finish it but trophies didn't pop
Glad we could help! Honestly I’ve failed so many times at it, still yet to get it myself. The best tip I can say is practice, I’ve got it down to about 32 minutes. There is a PC glitchless speedrun for 23 minutes out there
Someone let me know if I'm wrong, but I believe the guide is outdated ONLY FOR CH 5: Clone. I missed some fire alarms and an extinguisher or two. Other than that thank you so much for the video.
Just a friendly note. To make objects bigger or smaller, I found it easier to look at the walls while holding the object and walking back or forth. I found I could size them easier this way.
yearsssss late but just incase anyone reads this comment and is wondering it won’t be unlocked on your first play through to prevent people from getting lost etc 👍
I got the Vaguely Activated Achievement on accident. I popped it by dropping the piece of cheese trying to get the first blueprint collectable. I hope this could help some people
At about 31:30 he goes into the floor where you have to take off the crate in able to get the trophy, there is a golden chess piece that is in slow motion when you let it go. It’s dope you can make it huge
