It’s probably because here it was his first time watching it.. plus there he is with his hyung so the evil maknae energy is out but here he is the second oldest the most sunbae so his taeresa enrgy is there especially because he wants to first monitor hiw the finished mv looks like and second he wants to see the reaction of his hobae and what would they say about them after being on hiatus for 3 years ... they are sooo cute both our beautiful SHINee and SuperM

He was chatty with his hyungs because he already watched with SuperM members, as he's already reviewed it, so that's why he was talkative with Shinee members. And yes, like what you said, he wants to hear and see SuperM's point of views and reactions.
