I love how the first 30 seconds of this video seemed like an actual conversation between Superman and Brainiac, and then it turned into a typical Solid JJ skit.

I think my heart skipped a beat when I heard him say "There is war, there is evil, but tell me one planet that has none". I've heard dozens of speeches about the value of human life and humanity and Earth, but I have rarely heard speeches that acknowledge our faults and stand proud of us anyway. I feel like that aspect is what makes humanity truly amazing: our potential. No matter how bleak and sad our world may seem, there is always the potential to become something better

That little "moving the goalposts" stunt Brainiac pulled at the end is actually something he's done in canon.

I really loved what this show did with Brainiac by connecting him to Clark's/Kal-El's origin and people on Krypton as the former Kryptonian AI who chose to let the planet die of natural cause for Braianc to save itself and become the villain we all know. While I do also like when the adaptation make Braianic a different former alien scientist from Colu who couldn't save his own people, reflecting what would happen if Superman had no humanity as Clark Kent, I still really love this shows depiction of the character and Corey Burton was excellent in the role

You can tell how DESPERATE Brainiac is to destroying Earth, that he sets up trick and disguised rhetorical questions just to bypass any answers Superman can give. Even if Superman noticed the Simon says, Brainiac would use a different reason to destroy Earth.

Brainiac is way more merciful with his questions than a certain bridge keeper asking 3.
