Henry Cavill refused to take steroids to muscle up for the role. He also refused any digital touch-ups or enhancement to his body in his shirtless scenes. He said it would have been dishonest of him to use trickery while playing Superman, and he wanted to push his body to the limits, to develop his physique into one that was worthy of the character.
Thank u for sending my request. I was waiting on this video, to be honest i'm going to miss henry cavill his one of my favorite superman but I feel so sad his leaving. But his memories we'll never forgotten.

Henry Cavill is the first non-American actor to play Superman. This Superman's version is the first time when Krypton's atmosphere wasn't fitting for Humans to breathe in, this is not the first time though when Superman and his kind needed direct exposure to Earth's atmosphere in order to have x-ray vision as such concept was shown in Stan Lee's version of Superman in "Just Imagine..." series. But it is first time when upon exposure to Earth's atmosphere for the first time Kryptonians have some difficulties. DCEU's version of Pa Kent is one of the rare instances of him being someone who tells Clark to hide his powers from others or people will be afraid of him, which was original Superman's creator Jerry Siegel's intention for this character as early as 1934 and made it's way eventually in Superman #1 in 1939. This character trait also appeared in Birthright series by Mark Waid. It was original explanation why Superman and Clark Kent have separate identities even after both of his adoptive parents were dead and Superman had no known attachment to any particular person on Earth. Just like in John Byrne version Krypton's society didn't have natural birth in over decades, but unlike Byrne version Kal-El (who's only difference with others was that Jor-El changed his DNA enabling him to live Krypton's orbit without instantly dying, which was an explanation why nobody else in this version left Krypton) was born naturally and on planet Krypton instead of fully forming on American soil.
“It has to do with the kind of stories that get to be told, and if you lose your eye on the ball, which is character,” continued Gunn. “We love Superman." I had a buddy who tried getting into “Normal” comic books but I was all like “No one is having s*x or killing each other . This isn’t really doing it for me”-Zack Synder
