Superman also has 'After eons of conflict. I finally see the truth of your words. This Universe, no matter how vast, will never be big enough for you and I to coexist' vibes
@warwik Xio Who was betraying him for 5 years prior to that.... Superman was in the right, if Batman had killed the Joker years ago, none of Injustice would have happened. Killing criminals is right, if you don't do bad stuff, you won't get killed by Superman. Not sure what was hard about that.
in my opinion superman hates doomsday as much or even more than darkseid , but i could be wrong , lets not even mention the joker..... that dude had it coming
@@martinsuareznunez2620 Doomsday isn't as evil as Darksied, doomsday has little to no intention behind his evil (relatively speaking) when compared to Darksied being quite literally an embodiment of evil.
Superman only killed Joker when the psycho finally hurt something he cared about. Superman doesn't hate Doomsday at all, Doomsday is an unthinking monster, not an actual villain.
Hell Superman didn't kill him himself but did let Darksied die in the Justice League animated series . Just so happen some asshat allowed darksied to come back but still . I figured Clark even as boyscout superman doesn't care if Darksied dies or not
That look of horror on Darkseid's face, once he realizes Clark's hand is right below it, was so satisfying. The desperate *"NO"* afterwards was just icing on the cake. Bastard knew it could've ended right there.
@@FernandoComicsOfficial to be fair darkseid had his chance to kill him too, fight could have gone either way, but for the sake of plot they can't have superman being killed by darkseid in injustice
@@hikoseijuro9291 the title is literally superman doesn't hold back haha. He definitely went all out. That's what the boom signified. And I'm sure it hurt but it's still Darkseid. I'm sure only way darkseid was going out was if the planet itself was too which was right about to happen and even then I'm pretty sure it wasn't the source that told orion that hunk of bs. I think it was Myxie
Only reason Alfred won was because he had the strength of a kryptonian and good fighting skills and black canary sound wave is strong enough to destroy planets
@@Brutaal656 Bruh....kryponian pills or not...there is not way superman would get humiliated in hand to hand combat like that And no black canary is not black bolt
@@Brutaal656 He wasn't actually, the reason he was caught the way he was is that he was not expecting it, Alfred took him by surprise with a Kryptonian level nothing held back headbutt and merciless beating.
Darkseid is the one adversary that Superman tried to keep alive because he was afraid to unleash his powers in the fear that it would result in the destruction of Apokolyps. Superman had been taught to respect and protect all life, either on earth or other planets. But Darkseid had always humiliated Superman because he knew that the weakness that Superman has is for humans. It is a weakness that Darkseid exploited numerous times. But this is the first time I ever saw Superman go full Kryptonian and become just as ruthless in battle as Darkseid.
It’s never explained why Superman doesn’t bring Harley to justice (legal or otherwise), which always hacks me off. There’s so much good writing in the Injustice title … how Taylor and Brian B dropped the ball on the Harley thing? I’ll never understand.
Its always epic when these two fight. I know they are not the most powerful beings in the DCU but still it always like it is the closing act to any arc
Yeah they had some great battles one on one especially since Darkseid is the one guy Superman knows he can go full rage mode since hes tough enough to handle his earthquake blows.
@@sovereignsupreme8203 You are comparing Superman and Darkside to a son of the actual GOD. Yes, they are the most powerful because the rest are GODS and fit not in the argument .
Even on Apocalypse where there is no Sun, Superman is so powerful when he stops holding back, Imagine how powerful he might become when fighting Darkseid on Earth where there is constant sunlight. He might actually manage to kill that Apokoliptan war mongerer.
@@alphahyperion5831 At least Darkseids avatar in the Injustice continuity. You have to remember: Darkseid exists in 4th world. Any time you encounter him outside that dimension, it is his avatar.
@@morgrimgaming7342 Superman's justice can never be tyranny. Injustice Supermanay not be the hero Earth WANTS, but he his definitely the hero Earth NEEDS.
@@gabrielcosta2986 At least Superman can GUARANTEE Earth's protection from Gods like Darkseid and any other planetary invaders. Or would you leave Batman in charge of that. Of all his resources and skill Bruce is ONLY a man. He CAN NEVER give Earth the protection Kal-El can.
SUPERMAN: We're nothing alike! DARKSEID: Really? Lemme just get the Joker's opinion about that...oh wait, I can't. _You ripped his fucking heart out._ Doh!
I always took injustice for granted but these videos make me realize there was a lot more depth in it than I previously thought, thank you again for a great video with excellent music. I would also recommend using Doom music for your fight videos if you can get around the copy right thing.
So the broken, willing to outright kill anyone for questioning him, straight up EVIL, version of superman. Is your favorite? The man of tomorrow. The one hero every other hero is supposed to be measured against. And you pick the one losing every Ideal he ever stood for as the "best" superman? That is very concerning.
Fernando I been following you for almost 3 years and everything yoh do is amazing. Nkw wit the sound fx and the light motion scenes🔥🔥how can I forget my favorite all time hero SUPERMAN
I was expecting Darkseid to lose an arm after that last panel. Just to demonstrate how serious Supes was. He's taken a vow not to kill...but the rulebook is a might fuzzy when it comes to kneecaps...
Prepare to be disappointed later on. It’s still a really good read, dont get me wrong! But sometimes, the events that occur will make you say “that shouldn’t have happened, but for the reason of plot armor, I will do my best to ignore it”
@@tubtubsablubblubs3996 man I get other people have their own opinions but Ive been honestly enjoying it so much but im only on year 1. So I guess well have to wait and swe
Though I enjoyed the Injustice comics. I can understand many peoples gripes on certain power scaling issues/writing. Given Superman did this and in year 3 he nearly was killed by Zeus who was stopped by Highfather... Which outside of different universes both Darkseid and Highfather always seen as equal/opposite of morality and power. So be Zeus I can see kicking Superman butt. The issue of then him being equal to Highfather or comparable enough to be dissuaded by his words. Just came off as not well thought out. Well outside of course how quickly Hercules was killed after Supes went blood listed and yet prior was kicking both sides asses... Mind Year 3 had many issues if looking back to say this or after. Year 2 it was believable when Superman gained the Yellow Lantern ring his insane power feat right after. Mind there is problems with year 2 to nitpick, but I highly enjoyed that one out of most. Well outside how dirty Kyle and somewhat later John was taken care of...
I like the fact that this shows that Superman changes as in when he lets his anger control him he isn’t able to stop himself from properly helping people not even darkseid is happy to see that change but he knows how to manipulate it.
“I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard, always taking constant care not to break something, to break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control even for a moment, or someone could die. But you can take it, can't you, big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerful I really am."
@@cosmokramer7396 Yes it is. I posted a quote of what Superman said to Darkseid. To which you responded "he still lost that fight". Your response was irrelevant due to it having no meaning in refuting what I posted to begin with. Superman lost that fight with Darkseid. Ok, so what? Win or lose it's still a quote that Superman said.
I feel like Darkseid was toying with Supes here. After all, he could've just shot Supes with his Omega Beams and trapped him in the Omega Sanction with he wanted him gone.
Superman's "not holding back" mode is what people complain Batman's "prep time" is: a randomly, infinitely scalable power source that writers can refer to, to excuse Superman being able to defeat anything and anyone when it suits them: -"Now I'm not holding back!" -"Now I'm not holding back even more!" -"Now I'm so not holding back, it's amazing how much *less* I'm holding back than previously, when I merely *claimed* that I was not holding back, but was still holding back!" -"Beware, lest I hold back even less!"
You know there is a justice league episode where Superman say to Darkseid that he has been pulling his punches with everyone BUT with you I can go all out
Honestly we know darksied stomps kal anyday of the weak. If it wasnt for the fact that their fight was gonna nuke his home i doubt darksied would have cared if lived or died as long as kal el fell before him.
I haven't kept up on the current Injustice or Superman comics, but I remember from way back in the New Gods comics of the 1970's that Darkseid pretty much really didn't really care much if anything about Kalibak, I always thought he kind of looked on Kalibak as the dungheap of his family tree and if he had died in a battle with say Orion he would have been pretty indifferent as to his death.
Superman can kill this version of Darkside but not the millions of others who can casually interact and swap places with their alternate selves. Darkside is simple too powerful for Sups to defeat, Darkside even defeated the narrator of a new tri-ology series on Darkside theories by JUST exhausting the narrator of ideas. Darkside is now a self-made being!
I remember when I was 13 I used to think that Darkseid was actually Kriptonian god , but then I realize sometime later he is in fact a tyrannical god like being from a planet called Apokolips.
Superman is a beast in this story. Shazam death is about right. He has no tactics/awareness in battle. he's a kid afterall and makes a better villain..
@@samuraiblack8840 You talk like sentry isn’t powerful as hell. Also, banner was able To transform right back into hulk easily shortly after that. Sentry was out
If this fight happens on Earth, the tables would be turned. Except Superman would be the survivor still, but Darkseid would take millions of humans with him.
Honestly in the injustice universe if superman had just taken out people like joker darksied and ras al ghaul and other giant threats he would still be good cause with those cases they cant be redeemed
Orion is basically telling Darkseid that if Apokolips is destroyed in the fight against Superman, and it would have been if the fight continued, Superman may, or may not, survive, but Darkseid would not.
superman unleashed just whoops asses and take names , darkseid is a force to be fear , but superman without lois in his life he is just a ruthless merciless world breaker
I've always hated this for two reasons. First it implies that the entire Kryptonian race are stronger than actual gods because they can absorb photons... which is idiotic. Second nobody remembers that Darkseid removed himself from the Crisis. So he's the same strength and power as he was when he was clashing with silver age Superman. He should be crushing Superman every time they fight one on one. When Superman can defeat him solo what's the point of even having a JL? It's so boring.
@@BruceWayneBatfleck Black Panther and Dr Doom wipe the floor with Batman. Especially Dr Doom, since he an expert in magic, has great intelligence, and powerful enough to fight people like Hulk
So Darkseid struggles with one roided out Kryptonian. If Zod and his crew actually got along with Superman and decided to have been peaceful, Darkseid would have been chump change. Especially with Zod in the picture
