Of course he is. The moral compass to do what is correct is the first thing you need to be a hero (those that rush into danger.. wouldn't do it if in first place they wouldn't care). Also in his fictional universe his foes are people that can harm him. Being invincible is more a consequence of his popularity as a best seller so his stories continue.
