Green Lantern got it too, but he was just too afraid of Superman so he didn't go with Barry. Makes sense too since he's had a yellow ring for so long that his willpower wouldn't be as strong as it used to be.
Wonder woman really was just the crazy woman who drove the bros apart. Like if she was not talking venom in clarks ear i bet the others could have helped him
Clark Kent was on life support when he sided with sinestro. He died when he hired a serial killer to murder Alfred. Any semblance of who superman was before the joker offed his pregnant wife is scarce. Billy’s death is like breaking the bedrock of rock bottom
For anyone confused with the title. Shazams first name was Captain Marvel until legal issues happened with Marvel when they made a character named Captain Marvel. In the end Marvel won and was able to keep the name while DC was able to keep the character but needed to change his name
Man, why couldn't they have made 2-3 part Injustice animated films that actually followed how the game's story played out? What we got was a shallow attempt to condense it into one film with immensely stupid decisions like killing Flash right away. 🤦
The reason why Superman kills Shazam was because he was standing out of line, so yeah if try to stand up against Superman he is going to straight up kill you
@@valiensr1037if barry had no self control he would have killed superman than and thier He would have viberated his heart or brain and wont even regret it i would have done the same thing if i was him Bro BILLY IS 10 and he has the wisdom of salamon so if he says your wrong YOU ARE WRONG
It looks like he’s trying to convince himself and not Flash, like he’s desperately trying to justify this even though he probably fells it’s wrong and he might be afraid of Superman’s wrath (which is ironic considering he’s Yellow Lantern)
@@RyujiGoda4331 considering the fact that he has basically gone against everything he once stood for (via the GL corp) he is likely trying to convince himself
@@grovnargaming2387 and people seriously try to act like this debate is neutral once a hero kills it doesn’t change the fact that they killed. yes they kill for the moral reasons, but I have never in a million years except for comics bull shit exaragrate how many people the joker kills. The joker typically aims soley to break batmans will and change his thoughts to make him break this has almost never happened. But the whole point is we have seen if Batman was willing to do the same despite being a normal human do you have any idea how f**ked the United States alone is he was in both the cia and fbi effortlessly hacks they’re systems he left due to his refusal to carry a gun. But the government still works with him so many times comic writer’s hypocritically repeat the same thing. No source included mind you the police department could be responsible at the end of the day a realistic court of law may be allowed to end it, but in injustice we see Superman end the lives of simple people were in for the wrong reason and his only justification is crime. My guy your an idiot you killed innocent family members simply for taking the wrong path do you listen to yourself like literally many families know superman attempted a so called righteous execution but that’s genocide and trying to overtake the law things injustice Superman does is way too edgy. The idiot Wonder Woman somehow believes man’s world cannot rule itself. you should be slapped super hard your promoting the same dictatorship as zod at that point might as well be the same thing because Superman eventually becomes like the person who he hated and people say it’s to preserve order and prevent crime you don’t end the lives of people who have nothing to do with it you let the government find the appropriate punishment she looked like a clown when asked about the most basic system of law.
@@TaylorWilliems828 well to be fair i will simply say agree to disagree, but my point remains that this mirrors general zod in a way. Even the writers acknowledge this is the major comparison of him and zod for me the difference is zod could have had a change of heart he was a broken soldier granted he did try to force a coup which didn’t work for the best. Superman here say after he kills the joker fine that’s really all you have to he’s always had it coming. Any sane person would be sentenced normally granted it’s literally the joker. But we have seen cases where jokers pathology put the other person at risk a similar risk is that canonically jokers prion disease cjd (cruetz field Jakob disease) is a mutated strand which has not been medically cataloged by Arkham for what ever reason and is airborne but slow. It’s not just about ending him often times it’s often a bit dangerous my problem is regardless of which argument you go by for me it still remains that him. Attempting a world dictatorship, trying to personally execute most if not all Arkham inmates who might be innocent and not listening to common sense and reasoning is beyond me hes not invincible keep that in mind literally lex luthor would probably have a good contingency if he stopped letting his ego first. Superman can take measures but you see how this results in bad karma ras Al ghoul was ultimately using superman, same thing with lex luthor and then he’s putting most criminals under water in a deep depth to prevent escape plain and simple we see there is only so much you can do and Wonder Woman kept egging him on than appealing to superior logic and control.
Grundy was the only one who showed that he cared by burying Shazam properly. Definitely true that when Grundy becomes the smart one, things arent looking good.
The Woman who comes from an island full of arrogant immortal Women who kidnap Men for breeding or at least that used to be the lore. Either way, before anyone says it, being held against your will and forced to sire children you didn't want and will never get to see is not as fun as one might think. They do dispose of any Boys though, as Hephaestus took them in in exchange for giving them weapons. Paradise has no place casting judgment on a world they hardly interact with. "Nobody asked you, (b)itch." Never let people who want power, have it. This includes our own world. Anyone who demands it has no idea how it's supposed to work. _The crown should feel heavy upon the brow of (he) who wear it._ and if it doesn't, then they aren't ready for the responsibility that power carries.
@@Maniacman2030don’t forget, the men they usually use for breeding were usually killed(at least in some lore according to a video about the Amazons). For a group claiming man’s world is violent and cruel the amazons are just as if not more cruel, especially to men. Honestly wouldn’t be suprised if they thought that no woman can due harm nor be evil in some continuity of dc stories.
The flash had the bigger heart,he’s the only one of the team who knows what justice is supposed to look like and once he saw superman murder a child who idolised superman more than anything,he knew that superman was going too far.
@@thecow7255 Well once thing he could have done that would have made an impact is timetravel back in time and meet batman say what shitstrom is to brew in future.
@@hunterculpepper1973the movie is mid there talking about the games/comics which exist in the same timeline And killing a kid and regretting it afterward doesnt bring the kid back
I find it amazing. Wonder Woman had absolutely zero investment in Lois or Clark's family. This entire act is not only her taking the power she always actually wanted, but basically simping for Superman at the same time.
@Maniacman2030 with the exception of Justice League TAS and I'm sure some of her comics, WW is always written as an incredibly non-reasonable psychopath with superpowers and some training.
... if I'm not mistaken, that was exactly what Flash told Hal. Flash knows he's the only one who can walk away, because he can walk as fast as Supes can run
And a look at Wonder Woman, from an island that shuts out the outside world and she thinks they have any right to tell the world what to do. Even Diana is technically an alien to Earth, but not the same way as Clark. It's obvious this whole shtick is something she always wanted, but was prevented from doing because of Superman.
Probably one reason Batman keeps locking him up and putting up with him. He knows how to deal with him. If it's anyone else then they can't take it like he can.
No, no, Wonder Woman did that with her manipulating his grief and trying to get in his pants pretty much immediately after Lois died. Injustice Wonder Woman is the reason why Superman went so far, Joker was just the beginning of it.
To all that is wondering Captain Marvel is the original name for Shazam and it is still being used in media, but a lawsuit fixes them to change it for the movies
Lantern : You have a death wish?! Flash : I can erase him from the timeline, or drive my vibrating hand to his heart. He’s the one who has a death wish
Batman was right - it never stops at one. Batman probably wants to kill most of his villains- but if he lets himself go , he’s no better than them… there must be a line.. a fact that grief blinded Superman from
Dog. That’s probably true for most but Joker is a literal menace to society. Literally kills thousands just for Bats attention. The whole “bAtMaN wiLl lOse hImsElF” is so stupid. He should quit if that’s the case. Joker’s case is completely different from most villains where he’s just a human killing other humans constantly. And it’s not a small amount it’s an huge amount of people he kills. Causes so much destruction. Because if that’s the case, then murders in the real world shouldn’t be killed otherwise we’d kill more and more and yet that’s not how it works. Man i like bAtMaN but y’all Batman’s worshippers need to think
Yes but the guardians lmaod him marine long D style, its a kind of hell you don't want, but Hal did it, just to prove he can right wrongs, same as Flash.
Never forget. Superman stopped Billy from saying Shazam because Superman knew he couldn't bring himself to murder a kid. So long as Billy was in his Shazam form, he could justify that kill to himself
Actually, it can be argued that since Billy tried to summon lightning by saying his name, the magic (which Superman is vulnerable to) would hit Superman.
I've just noticed, when Shazam talks about how rules are needed, ESPECIALLY for them, he made superman think of BATMAN and how he used to say the same things. Why he had all of those protection protocols. That's also why sups snapped ans killed him irrationnaly, batman + Loïs.
@@gandalftheantlionWith N*zi Superman, his agenda probably wouldn't change. But Clark still remains within, if he saw a kid he couldn't kill em. Plus he knew how powerful Shazam was, before he could change he needed to eliminate them.
Nah billy is a teen here hea grown now he was so sure of superman that he was comfortable around him without transforming. He was trying to turn into billy,, billy was trying to turn into Shazam
That scene emphasizes just how broken Clark became after losing everything. I believe, it’s one of the reasons why Joker luaghs as Clark kills him. More than proving he was right, it only takes one bad day, Joker knew that this corrupted Superman would continue the anarchy and madness the Joker lived by. Weather the regime Superman created would live on, or be undone by rebellion gang would spiral into anarchy, the world would plunge into disorder. Even the dictatorship Superman forced on others was not order. It was the illusion or order and control, as we see with the division of the League, more pain, death, and destruction followed in the process to take down the Regime and Superman. The world would never be the same. Through this evil Superman, Joker, even in death, still won.
@@chocolateiguess1613And to think he was mad because he lost his wife and child, besides doesn't Billy have father at his house that waits for him everyday?
And if I recall correctly, Metropolis already had to be rebuilt once in Injustice cause Joker nuked it as part of his plan to make Superman snap. So this is a city that had to deal with sorrow already and Superman just casually wants to level it again.
@@PerkingBJ i don't really understand that actually, like DC attempted to explain it but then just kind of dropped it and they never bothered to elaborate any further than he uses the word Shazam to use his powers and transform
@@TheEmperorOfViltrum But you it also seems kinda symbolic in a way I thought. I also thought it's due to being afraid that you could also get the ring
@@TheEmperorOfViltrum it's both though. You need to cause and have great fear in you. It's why Sinestro is the poster boy. He fears being irrelevant, not powerful enough and loosing his power. Which helps him channel fear unto others
@@TheEmperorOfViltrum now thats not true. This guy still canonically hasn't gotten over his parent's death, he has a plan to take down all the justice league even though they're his friends and he obviously fears loosing the rest of his family.
I think Billy should’ve become his child form, then spoke. Seeing a child in a man’s body killed is one thing, seeing the child in their body killed would’ve started a revolution easily.
At least the first two make *some* sense, since they're in fucked up dystopias that are no place for innocent children. But Shazam dying to a couple Paradooms of all things? Thought that was absurd.
@@jonahmiller5881 Why are you saying that like Paradooms are weak? The whole point of them being created is that they are insanely strong and have the DNA of Doomsday in them, someone who was waxing the entire league and killed Superman. Imagine multiple crazed versions of those coming at you.

They were all well aware they had moved to using fear. But they thought it was justified, at first. They thought they were finally putting their foot down.
Billy bring up an excellent argument "whom limits the limitless?" The answer is simple; only the limitless may limit themselves, but only learn this when they are the only ones left
This doesn't feel right .Shazam is supposed to be almost on par with supes at his best ,so why did supes kill him so easily making it look like it was child's play the way they made him so weak.Shazam deserves for more credit ...Nah man that ain't right
@@myleswayne301 sorry if I didn't explain it well. This is why superman covered his mouth so he couldn't transform and fight back.
Their's a bit of a continuity error here was Billy is clearly in his SHAZAM from and such wouldn't have to call out for it or be killed that easily. He's also stated to be a kid when this takes place as in Injustice 2 on of the intro's involving Superman and Blue beetle, Superman states that he doesn't kill children in which Blue Beetle responds "didn't stop you with Shazam".
