I love how you give props to Michael Rosenbaums Lex. That whole show and the relationship between Clark and Lex is still to this day perfect. It paints Lex as more of a hurt, betrayed friend who tried so very hard and was thrown into dark situations that Clark couldn't get past even when Lex tried to do the right thing at times. The only person Clark never saved in that show was Lex in the end and that rift was powerful. The Lexmas episode was heartbreaking. To anyone that doesn't know Michael and Tom Welling do a show on RU-vid called Talkville where they break down all the episodes together with guests from the show, check it out of you need more Smallville

I highly recomend ya watching Hoult on the HULU tv series called The Great. That is one amazing actor. And his acting in the show is what it is to me: his Lex Luthor audition.

This is a make or break situation for DC and James Gunn. The stakes couldn’t be any higher if they tried. I think we all want Superman to be outstanding, but Superman can be one of the hardest characters to get right too. I’m hoping for the best 🤞🏻

A great choice for a young Lex just starting to clash with Superman. Hes a good actor. I can see him like Lex from his time as Tony on Skins. His character was one you could hate though still had charm.

Smallville was probably Lex's best characterization in live action/animation ever. DCAU did him justice, but Smallville really elevated the character. Smart choice as a template, let's see how the team executes!

*_Jon Cryer's_* portrayal of _Lex Luthor_ is by far my favourite in any medium. He really gave off strong psychopathological vibes and made me _feel_ he genuinely thought he was superior to everyone else. He even gaslit *_me_* as an audience member a few times, as well as the characters within the show (Supergirl), into believing some of his lies. Brilliant writing for the character and brilliant performance.

the brolic black lex luthor from the superman cartoons will always be my favorite. The combination of intelligence mixed with physical intimidation is fantastic, a great DC equivalent of Wilson Fisk. I also wish they had a live action version of the henchwoman from those cartoons too.

Rewatching Smallville AGAIN and listening to the Talkville rewatch podcast that Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling do and it's great, I love Smallville so much Rosenbaum is the best Lex we've seen. Nicholas Hoult is brilliant and seeing him as Tony in Skins and then Beast in X-Men....he does live long enough to see himself become the villain tbh

I'm very much looking forward to the new Superman Legacy film, though like many just hoping that the continuously adding of more characters doesn't detract from the development of our main character of Superman, and even Lois. I don't have many in mind for Superfirl casting, but I have seen the fancasting of Chloe Grace Moretz and do really like that. She has the acting chops for that and has even done hero movies at an early age.

Smallville is the only major Superman IP that I haven’t watched yet. I’ve seen all of the movies & the Superman & Lois show on the CW. Nicholas Hoult was a surprise casting. I won’t lie. I wonder what he’s gonna bring to the character. For me Gene Hackman will always be my favorite version of Lex Luthor.

Definitely feel Smallville had the most fleshed out Lex. I think if you can show the progression of a villain towards evil and make it relatable it could be something special. I think the mistake the Star Wars prequels made with Anakin is they made his fall instant whereas in reality it's gradual.

The supergirl they just cast for the flash movie was awsome seeing her , and that version of supergirl in the movie was different than the normal story that we seen in other shows she was darker and more intense, did a great job if you ask me 😊 . A second choice would have to be Chloé Grace moretz! I grew up watching her in different movies. Kickass 1 and 2, especially, were top favorties of mine with her in them . She could also play a good supergirl i think 🤙

Until the retcon of Superman that John Byrne did in the 90s, Lex Luthor *always* grew up in Smallville along side Clark. In fact, his hockey kids' comic origin was that he hated Superman because he blamed him for losing his ample red hair.

I love how thorough and transparent and truthful Gunn is in his tweets. If DC foes a multiverse they better bring back Michael Rosenbaum. He said hed do it. Nicholas hasbig shoes to fill if he wanta to out Lex MR. and agreed i didnt like Jesses Lex at all. Gonna be nice not to see origin stories all over again too. Sasha did a great job as Supergirl. They should use her again if they multiverse the DC. Flash tanking is probaly why but thats not fair to her.

My overall prediction for the plot of the movie will play into the title of “Legacy”. I think all the other hero’s being in the universe being known for whatever they have done or are known for and Superman isn’t a big well known hero although he has these great powers and Legacy will be him establishing his higher ranking amung the others and become well known for whatever the battle is of the movie therefore starting the “Legacy of Superman “

Very excited for Superman Legacy. Oh no Sasha Calle is officially out as Supergirl. 😮 She did a great job and I remember how excited she was when she got the role so too bad she can’t continue as Supergirl.

I'm so excited for the James Gunn DCU. But it's such a whopping bummer that we'll never get more of the Snyderverse DCEU versions. What I'm curious about is Peacenaker season 2. A Gunn made show in the DCEU. How will that be addressed? Will Cena walk through a multi-verse portal and start busting heads? Will he bring the hot blonde at least?

they could absolutely say that the supergirl from the flash movie is a supergirl from another timeline. they never actually explained her past, so they should bring that actress back.
