I am so glad that music came back. I remember the last time it played was that episode in season 1 where Superman stood up against bank robbers in Mexico.

It really isn't a motif then, as a motif is a theme that is special for a specific character. If it was played for a different character, than it doesn't really count. Like hearing Batman's motif from BTAS "Gotham City Suite" in Batman Beyond when Bruce put on an exo-suit. That's his theme.

This episode was just SO incredibly well-written all-around but I especially LOVED that they had Sam use that word!!!! Fits right in with Lois’ comment about him turning her son into a weapon!!!!

Sam is a Army General. He thinks in military terms. That's why, instead of freaking out when the thug approached with the gun, he was talking out loud, giving Jordan a sitrep on where in the building they were and the hostiles that were an immediate threat. Exactly as he would if Jordan were a regular soldier that he was speaking to via radio.

He's been playing killer instinct during episodes. There a charecter named glacious, who does that move.

When this show works it's great. The problem is 85 percent of the time it's unbearable. Noone cares about Lana's husband and daughter yet that's half the damn show

@@jonathansoko1085 Agreed, the show adapts the Superman Lore incredibly well and the Kent family has some great story arcs. But for some reason, some behind the scenes are hell-bent on pushing the Cushings family drama down viewers' throats when it really isn't needed. That whole arc is not needed to tell the story of the mirror verse and Bizarro, it adds absolutely nothing and if anything teaches some really flawed logic like the Boyfriend who was cheated on having to apologise to his girlfriend for cheating on him.

To be fair, the TV show has much more time to work with.

@@HouseMD93 not really. It might be a show, but Spider-Man has had 3 solo movies, and 3 secondary appearances. Peters total on screen time is greater than Jordan’s will be after all of the 2 seasons released. They both also use a prior gen of heroes to elevate themselves, so it’s not like either is much more advantageous than the other in this regard. They’re also not that different as they both are still telling their origin stories: Peter [seemingly] finished his origin in his latest film.

@@bigpapan.g3245 You are probably correct that Peter has more on-screen time than Jordan, but on-screen time is split into more than character development, such as action, exposition and resolving plot points. In a Spiderman movie, in general Peter HAS to fulfill all the on-screen roles (and the villain gets to have a bit of screen time for that too). So, it's not fair to compare Jordan's screentime, whose on-screen time is mostly character development, to Peter's, whose on-screen time is mostly put into whatever the story arc needs. Also, the comparison isn't as simple as that in the first place. The setup to the story and revealing main over-arching plotpoints take similar amounts of time whether in a movie or in the story-arc of a season. So the overall time that a TV-show can use for character-development severely overshadows that of a movie. Let us use an example, L&S S1 can loosely be split into two story arcs, Luthor and Tal-Rho. So that's about 45 mins x 7 episodes = 5.25 hrs for a story arc. A single Spiderman story arc is about 2-2.5 hrs, with little character development (maybe 30 mins max). The TV show has twice the amount of time to tell a story, and since I think that the action sequences and plot points take similar amounts of time, that leaves about 2-3 hrs extra time for character development. This is an oversimplification to be sure, but should be in the ballpark. tldr; You see more of Peter Parker, but the time is used to drive the story and resolve plot points rather than investigate his character as the movie just doesn't have the time for it. Meanwhile L&S, a TV-Show with lots of additional time to tell a story, use the time they have wisely to investigate characters AND drive the main story.

@@HouseMD93 what works for Spider-Man is how he has alternative characters to better develop him. Other currently developed heroes (Ironman, Tob Spider, Andrew Spider) and all of Spideys villains are characters he uses to expand development by contrasting with. Jordan barely has this by comparison. Jordan may have more directly involved development for his screen time, but Spider-Man has extensive access to development through others. Spider-Man is more developed than the starting comment implies

@@liamandrew2843 I just ment that Jordan has come so far over this season and him passing a huge milestone like this one(Being able to fly, Super speed that can move at the speed of light ect.) it's such an amazing achievement for him. Clark would be so proud to see his son's abilities developing more.

To be fair they were entering unknown territory. Also, he was possessed by a Kryptonian in season one. For all we know, it could have enhanced his abilities.

In defense of Jor El's AI, human/kryptonian hybrids are uncharted territory and as far as we know in Earth Prime's history Jordan and Jonathan are the only ones. So it would make sense if the AI was wrong since it has never done tests on a hybrid like Jordan before, let alone a 14yr old kryptonian/human hybrid who had only just discovered his powers in less than a few weeks when he was being tested when he still has yet to fully mature.

@@RandomNamedHBK Yep. I didn't like that, but he kept making poor choices which had consequences for his family and it seems like in season 2 he's trying to be better and it shows. I'm really proud of him.😊

@@junito1957 They won't introduce Supergirl or at least not now because CW has destroyed every good image Supergirl could have by sending the message that "Supergirl is stronger, better anad more superior than Superman in every level." In other words, to many people, Supergirl's existence in CW is to mock Superman to make her look better. Both Superman and Jordon will automatically become useless and powerless no matter what journey they have been thorugh once Supergirl appears because Supergirl is woman and her cousin and niece are born with the sin of being male.
