I wish Christopher Reeves still alive. Him and Henry Cavill looks alike i think. It could be cool that they would be father and son as supermen in the movie. They are both great looking men.

There were plenty of great men who played Superman before Reeve and many more to come after him but what Reeve did with that Role will forever be something special. The Charisma that Reeve had is just too difficult for anyone to beat. That scene where he reverses time alone Immortalized him in the minds of many. RIP Reeve.

Chris remains my favorite actor to date and always will. As ive said in a previous video, Chris Reeve embodied the character for what it was during his creation. Love, compassion for strangers, and the overall sense of acceptance by so many outsiders of his own kind was the definition of this character, and Chris played it as if he was meant to. Rarely ever do i watch videos crafted by amatuers on youtube, but im glad i watched this one. It was truly edited with professional quality and with a good quality of orchestrated music. Good job to the producer of this video. How long did it take to assemble this?

notice how at 2:38 when he starts comparing both superman clips, Reeve was more of a friendly superman everyone can relate to while Henry is more like a god to them than a friend to everyone.

Cavill should do a movie documentary of Christopher Reeve's life from wearing the red cape as superman to his unfortunate horse accident to his struggles with his disability and becoming an advocate for the disabled.

I love Henry's Superman too. What people refuse to understand is: Man of Steel and BvS represents just a beginning from this amazing and powerful character we know as Superman/Kal El. Speaking of Superman on Man of Steel and BvS: He is starting that responsability to be the hero we all need, the hero who brings hope. He still something different and people don't know for sure if he is good because he is not from Earth, but the fear it's because humanity don't had - YET - the chance to see what he does best: save. And also people started to hear about Superman has only a few months what it's not enough to be an icon hero to anybody and no one knew he has this connection with the humanity, what made him have doubt for seconds about himself, if he was really good. But when Superman dies on BvS, we can see people changing their minds, they realize that Superman died to save everybody. From now we'll see the Superman who has the respect from the audience, he'll rise again. ♥

Just wished Snyder was fired or wathever because I feel he doesn't understand Superman's character or what to do with him, which is sad because I think Henry can be an amazing Superman (as good as Reeve) if well directed.

Nicely done! 1978 was a great year for a LOT of us. The year that a REAL Superman movie was made, one that basically started it all. It's the one that ALL superhero movies are based off of. Watch it again and you'll see what I mean. EVERYTHING in this movie was way ahead of it's time!! Chris is flying with the Angels and we down here miss him.

The similarities between the two individuals are incredible! Superman isn't just a cape and a pair of underwear- he is everyone who chooses to do good selflessly.
